Frequently Asked Questions About Burleigh's Body Shop
What vehicles do you work on?
Burleigh’s Body Shop specializes in European, exotic, and electric vehicles. We currently hold manufacturer certifications for Tesla, Rivian, Mercedes-Benz, and Toyota.
Do you offer any other services besides collision repair?
While Burleigh’s Body Shop only performs collision repair, we do work with a network of dealers and trusted vendor partners that can provide towing, glass replacement, paintless dent repair, paint protection films, and more. We are happy to help coordinate these additional services while your vehicle is in for repairs.
How long will it take to repair my vehicle?
There are a lot of factors that affect repair times, including the extent of damage, parts availability, and insurer response time. Because of these unknowns, it can be difficult to provide an estimated length of repairs until the process is near completion. We will do our best to provide updates throughout the repair process and an accurate completion date once one is available. Typically, auto body repairs can take several days for small repairs up to several weeks or longer for large repairs.
Do you work with all insurance companies?
Yes. Although Burleigh’s Body Shop is not under contract with any insurers as a direct repair partner, we will work with your insurance company to help create as seamless an experience as possible.
What is the difference between OEM, Aftermarket, and LKQ parts?
OEM stands for ‘Original Equipment Manufacturer’. These are ‘factory’ parts provided by the original vehicle manufacturer. They are identical to the parts that came on your vehicle and are engineered to meet the same standard for fit and finish. OEM parts are also crash-tested by the manufacturer to ensure they meet the same standard for occupant safety and structural integrity. The certifications we hold require the use of only new OEM parts for repairs.
Aftermarket parts are cheaper, low-quality parts produced by third-party companies and are not supported or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer. These parts are not crash-tested for safety, and it is unclear how they would perform in a future collision.
LKQ stands for ‘Like, Kind, and Quality’. These are used parts sourced from various salvage yards. Although they were originally produced by the vehicle manufacturer, these parts are being pulled from damaged vehicles, and their condition, functionality, and crashworthiness cannot be verified. For these reasons, they are not recommended.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, we provide a lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle.
