Tire valve on my 2015 CRV broke on a 5-year old tire. If this happens, it's very rare that it will be a slow leak. Tire was perfect the night before, it was visibly deflated when I looked at the car in the morning. Being a Sunday, there weren't very many places to have the tire repaired, but I've always had a good experience with NTB so I searched for one nearby (because the one closest to my home has permanently closed). Google recommended the Reston location as the next closest one. I took the tire off from the car, loaded it on our other car and went to NTB. The techs looked busy so I asked the person in the office if they can accommodate me. I described my issue, showed them the tire and the leaking valve, the person at the desk had one of the techs replace the defective valve on the spot. It took 5 mins, maybe a little less, from the time I handed the flat tire to the tech to me loading the fixed tire back in the trunk of our other car. The tech who replaced the valve even asked me if I needed the tire to be at a certain pressure as he was finishing up. Commendable work ethic. I asked them how much I owe, they both said "don't worry about it." There's no way I was going to let that go so I gave them each a $20 for getting me in and out so quickly and making my tire usable again. Thank you to the two gentlemen who helped me out today. I would definitely recommend this place.
