I wish there was a way to not put a star… The employees are rude and make you feel like you’re bothering them.. they sit behind the counter watching videos on their phone and when you ask if the showers are ready because your in line for a shower you get told “There isn’t anyone here to clean them. I’m the only one here. You can use one of the dirty ones if you want a shower” This has got to be the worst customer service I have ever seen at a Pilot Travel Center… corporate really needs to get involved.. us truckers look forward to shutting down for the night after a long stressful day of work and getting a nice CLEAN hot shower… I think we deserve that much considering we get our fuel and other things we need while we are here… and some of us also pay for our parking spots… do better Pilot.. us drivers would appreciate it.

I recently stopped at this Pilot Travel Center to take a shower, and the experience was very disappointing, especially for a place that serves professional drivers. The main issue is the soap provided in the showers. Every dispenser I used was dispensing what appeared to be extremely diluted soap, basically water with very little actual soap content. It did not lather at all, making it ineffective for proper hygiene. Out of curiosity, I checked one of the dispensers more closely and opened it myself. Inside, it was filled with a very watery mixture, which explains why nothing coming out of it worked properly. This was not just one unit multiple showers had the same issue, which makes it clear this is not an isolated problem. This raises serious hygiene concerns. Truck drivers rely on these showers after long hours on the road, and being provided with a product that doesn’t even function as soap is unacceptable. Thankfully, I had my own soap with me and was able to shower properly. However, not every driver carries personal supplies. Many depend on what is provided, trusting that a major chain like Pilot maintains proper standards. In this case, that trust is not being met. Whether this is due to poor maintenance, improper refilling, or lack of oversight, it needs to be addressed immediately. Proper hygiene products are not optional in a facility like this, they are essential. Truck drivers deserve clean, well-maintained showers with products that actually work. I strongly recommend management looks into this issue and ensures all dispensers are properly stocked with undiluted, functional soap.
