Rashan is such a great advisor. It’s such a pleasure to come here to get my oil changed I always make sure to drive out of the way to come here just to see him. He makes the whole experience pleasant and always makes me laugh the whole time. Can’t say enough good things!
I've been going here for a while now to get my car's oil changed. Every time I do, they've done a fantastic job! Rashan was very kind, courteous, and helpful with taking care of my car; I think he deserves a raise for his efforts! The service was a perfect balance of quick, thorough, and professionally well done. I will be back, and I would happily recommend Strickland Brothers to my friends if they need their oil changed in the future!

The staff were extremely professional and engaging. They told me about the condition of my original air filter (2023), which was nasty and needed replacing. I listened to the crew as they called out information to one another. This made me feel more confident about the service. I live in New Hampshire and only get my oil changed at this location, twice a year. That is how much I value the service that I receive.

I have thorough, efficient experience every time at Strickland Bros. in Poquoson. They went above just changing my oil and addressed a problem I didn't know was there at a great price. The website always has a coupon or two, making it a little less than the dealerships and other competitors! There was no wait, and the shop was clean and organized. They had bandwidth issues after a recent tech advance, yet still got me out of there in a timely manner. 10/10 recommend this team with Rashon leading; thanks, guys!
The service initially seemed smooth. The two employees greeted me at the door, offered me water, and were very friendly. However, about a week and a half after paying nearly $80 for an oil change—which is already higher than the usual $50–$60 I typically pay for my make and model—my dashboard displayed a critical warning that my oil was at 15%.
That raised serious concerns about whether an oil change was actually performed. I remained in my car during the service, they only popped the hood, and my car was never elevated, which made the process feel questionable in hindsight.
What made the experience worse was trying to get help afterward. When I reached back out, I couldn’t get in touch with a real person and kept getting redirected by an AI bot or told to call back another time. It was incredibly frustrating, especially after I had to spend even more money to have my car properly serviced elsewhere.
I feel misled and taken advantage of. Based on my experience, I have serious concerns about this business and would not recommend spending your hard-earned money here. I would like to speak with a representative and believe a partial refund is warranted. This experience was disappointing and, frankly, concerning.
