  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Tommy’s Express at 450 N. Military Hwy in Norfolk, VA was EXCELLENT! Every team member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely impressive. I’ve used Tommy’s Express in San Antonio, TX, and actually canceled my subscription when I came to Virginia because I didn’t realize there was a location here in Norfolk. After my experience at this specific location, I happily reactivated it! Greg and Savannah helped me reactivate my account, took the time to go over the services, and even explained the military discount. Because of that discount, I was able to upgrade to The Works while still staying within my monthly budget. I truly appreciated them taking the time to explain my options instead of simply trying to sell me something. When I drove into the wash, Jerm made sure my vehicle was positioned correctly. He even came back out afterward to make sure I knew how to properly use the mat-cleaning machine. And then there were Mali and Tatert, outside helping customers with smiles on their faces and such a joyful attitude—even while working in this hot weather! Their positive energy really stood out to me. Savannah told me from the beginning how wonderful the entire team was, and she was absolutely right. Corporate and the leadership of Tommy’s Express need to know what an exceptional team they have at the Military Hwy location in Norfolk. I say that as a customer who has used Tommy’s Express in another state and at multiple locations. This particular team was second to none. Tommy’s Express should be very proud of this team. Greg, Savannah, Jerm, Mali, and Tatert deserve to be recognized for the customer service and positive atmosphere they are creating at this location. Excellent experience from beginning to end! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  they used to come out and help guide you in to the wash, now they never do that anymore, my car has been off the tracks or getting jumbled in the tire cleaners to the point i had to gas it to get out to avoid getting hit by the car behind me. it’s literally the bare minimum to come out and give a simple hand signal then go back inside. it makes it hard for people in larger vehicles. if they’re not doing this super simple job, who knows what else they’re not doing. i shouldn’t have to go out of my way to make sure my car and their equipment don’t get damaged because they can’t do what they’re paid to do.

  It’s a great car wash, but I don’t recommend it because they don’t have compressed air available to blow out the inside of your vehicle.
