  I will probably never rent from here again. I have never had so much trouble getting my deposit back. Not to mention the vehicle was returned in the cond i got it in which was perfect. They didnt have the car i rented and paid for, instead i got a huge SUV. I declined to take it and the rep said they would comp my gas because of the trouble. That didnt happen i got charged for it. The CSR was very nice the process was fast but they dropped the ball. I dont appreciate it and honestly i will never rent from here again. Do Better

  I arrived with no reservation and told Tony exactly what I needed within a budget and exceeded my expectations. I was in and out in less than 15min in a cute lil Subaru ☺️ a much better car than I was expecting. When I noticed a tear in one of my tires the next day (I should’ve checked the car before leaving the airport😅), I was greeted by a lovely lady with locs who had a birthday the day before (I wish I could remember her name - she was so kind!). I let her know about the issue o had with the tire and she got me into another vehicle in less than 10 and made sure I wasn’t charged for the tire damage because I had gotten the insurance coverage. They were both there when I came to return my vehicle with smiles and well wishes. This was my first time renting from sixt and I’ll be sure to rent with them again!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give Mr. Tony B. 10 stars, I would! I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Tony B. at SIXT Rent a Car at Norfolk International Airport. His customer service was absolutely exceptional. Before coming to SIXT, I had been turned away by SIX other rental car companies. At that point, I was frustrated, stressed, and honestly starting to wonder how I was going to get my family where we needed to go. Then I met Mr. Tony B. Without hesitation, he listened to my situation, treated me with respect, and immediately started figuring out how he could help. He didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience or just another customer standing at the counter. He genuinely cared about getting me and my family into the vehicle we needed — and he made it happen. That level of customer service is extremely hard to find these days. Mr. Tony B. turned an incredibly frustrating experience into a positive one and completely changed my impression of the rental-car process. After being told “no” six different times, he was the one person willing to actually listen, find a solution, and help. SIXT has an outstanding employee in Mr. Tony B. He deserves recognition from management for the way he represents the company and takes care of its customers. Because of the experience he gave me, SIXT will absolutely be the first company I go to for my future rental-car needs. Mr. Tony B., thank you again for taking care of me and my family when no one else would. You earned a customer for life. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional service. Exceptional professionalism.   This was by far the worst experience I have had with a rental service and I travel a lot for my job. I decided to try Sixt as their ads kept popping up and they were offering the lowest price for the type of car I was looking for. Everything was fine up until returning the vehicle. No one was there to return the car to as my flight was 7am. I returned the car to the lock box and received a confirmation email stating everything was fine. Two days later, I received an email stating there was damage to the rear bumper which was a "scratch down to the primer" and I would need to pay around $1,500 to get it fixed. Mind you, the car was parked the entire time and I have pictures of the vehicle when I picked it up and when I returned it without the scratch. After researching this issue, I noticed that there is a FaceBook page dedicated to this scam that they do of pressuring you to pay or send you to collections. People have also contacted their Attorney General and filed complaints. Please do your research before using this company! I will never use Sixt again due to this dishonesty and plan on fighting this. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!

  I have been trying for over a week to get a situation rectified the vehicle that I rented was returned on time,. The keys were left in the dropbox, as instructed by the garage attendant however they were not checked in until the next morning And the company has charged me for an additional day of rental, even though I sent pictures and videos of me dropping the car off on time more than 15 minutes before the return time this was my first experience with this rental car company and extremely extremely disappointing. I have supplied them with video pictures communicated via WhatsApp chat email several times and they insist on me paying for an additional day even though they have what I sent they have this exact same information at this facility. I know there is video footage of vehicles coming in and out that facility. I know this video footage of people dropping keys into the dropbox that’s just big brother everywhere so why are they attempting to charge me for an additional day? I was on a flight from Miami to Jacksonville during the time that they said the vehicle was returned. So very disappointed in this entire experience unfortunately, this review does not allow me to attach video confirmation. However, the facility has all of that they should not once I said I returned the vehicle when I returned the vehicle. They should’ve just pulled their own video footage to confirm not harass me for over a week to continue to send information that they already have and then still attempt to say your pictures are dated this day. If this is the date that I’m sending them that’s the date that’s gonna be on them. That’s common sense I even walked past the counter. I’ve never dealt with this company before so I wasn’t until I got into the airport and that I saw that they had an actual counter. I actually walked past the counter with my daughter before 10:30 PM. The length that they are going to in an attempt to keep my money is sad but I am not going away! I purchased gas at five minutes away from the airport on the day that I returned the vehicle, which is August 19. Additionally, I was on a flight from Miami to Jacksonville on August 20 at the time that they claim I returned the vehicle. UPDATE: no update! Although the company responded to my post that they would look into the situation and get back, a week later and nothing! I’ll keep posting updates here to give tem an opportunity to rectify the situation but looks like I will have to go through my credit card company because a week is more than enough to at least reach out to me directly.
