  I can't quite give it 5 stars. The service was lacking. My spouse was added as a driver, but it cost me extra per day. Even though their policy said spouses as a second driver were no charge. We had just gotten married and did not have the same last name on our DL's. I did tell them we were married. She was very short at the counter and didn't really seem like she wanted to be there. The gentlemen when we got our car didn't really even look at us. They just handed us the keys and told us a spot where it was parked. I had to ask where that spot might be located. When we returned our car, the lady's attitude was very short, but she was helpful in making sure we knew where we were going to get to our gate. That was nice of her. Overall, I'd give the customer service a 3 out of 5. Otherwise, I have nothing else to go on. A rental car is a rental car. It's the service that makes the process feel like it was good or bad. This one was just meh.

  Even though my card had a credit option, they refused to even scan it because I had the option of doing a debit transaction (they said that the mere fact that it had debit written on it was a problem). Coming to that realization also took a long while of queueing and the personel was not that helpful

  I recently had an outstanding rental experience with Enterprise in Norfolk, Virginia airport. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was welcoming, professional, and committed to providing exceptional customer service. I would especially like to recognize Kendra for her outstanding service. She was incredibly friendly, cheerful, and positive throughout the entire process. Her professionalism and enthusiasm made my rental experience enjoyable, stress-free, and memorable. Kendra’s customer-focused attitude truly reflects the high standards that Enterprise strives to maintain. The entire team was excellent, but Kendra went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. Employees like her are a tremendous asset to your organization and deserve recognition for their dedication and hard work. In my opinion, she has certainly earned consideration for a raise or other form of recognition. Thank you to Kendra and the entire Norfolk Enterprise team for providing such exceptional service. I look forward to renting with Enterprise again in the future.

  This Enterprise location is awful. First issue we encountered was with the lights on the vehicle. They “worked” but were so dim that it was honestly hazardous to be on unlit roads at night. A police officer pulled us over because he thought our lights were off completely. When I showed him they were on but not working properly he let us go with a warning, understanding that it was a rental and not our car, but told us we probably shouldn’t be on the road at night in that car. So now we couldn’t do anything at nighttime with the car at risk of being pulled over again. This was really annoying but mistakes happen so we let it pass. We let the people in the shop know about the problem when we returned the car and moved on. My main gripe and the key reason for this review is they’ve charged us $750 for tolls! The problem is none of these charges were with our vehicle. We rented from this location to drive down to North Carolina, but all of our toll charges are out of NYC. It wouldn’t have been possible for us to be traveling from NC to NYC on the daily to accrue this much in tolls. Either someone duped the license plate, or stole the transponder from that vehicle to use in their own, and Enterprise didn’t notice/care and passed the charges onto us. I think the latter is true since the receipt says the tolls are coming through a transponder. So yeah between getting pulled over by the police and being charged $750 in false toll fees I cannot recommend this location. I see a lot of responses mention customer support so I’ll address that before I get any response. Thus far customer support has gotten me nowhere. I suspect they’ll try to keep pushing the fraudulent tolls onto me. I’ll update my review if anything changes. Really sad because prior to this I used to love Enterprise but this left a really bad impression on me.

  THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. we initially called enterprise because me and my family discovered a nail in the tire. went all the way to the airport after customer service helped us and told us to go up there. A young man named Liam was severely rude when we first asked him a question and he was confused looking too. We told him what happened and told him we talked to customer service. We had an agreement number and all he asked for was our last name (which is a common last name) and proceeded to say that they don’t do swap outs. Once we left, we called customer support again and the man said that they definitely do and that we were in the system for a swap. Mr. Confused Liam just did not care to help. Yall are the worst.
