- SBSeth Moore BOct 29, 20265.0Very helpful amazing Evan was very helpful and helped me locate a purchase I made from another area and sat with me to find the purchase so I could exchange my part very very helpful I highly recommend
- EWErik WilkinsonSep 21, 20263.0I had my daughters battery replaced here, the employee neglected to tighten the negative battery terminal, resulting in over 500$ in electrical damage (1200$ if the dealer replaced the parts) that the store said they filed an insurance claim to reimburse me. I signed a liability release form back on July 6, 2026 it is now September 21, 2026 and no check. Disappointing in the quality of the battery replacement and how the company has handled the issue. Go to NAPA and save yourself this headache. Update: The company finally got the claim squared away and I got reimbursed for the parts I needed to replace. Adding a couple stars for that.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
