Honestly this is rare these days to walk in to a store and have the employees be engaged and willing to do whatever they can to be helpful. He was super knowledgeable and went out of his way to recommend the best product to fix my issue and even happily came out to my car with me to replace what was needed since I didn’t have tools on me. He clearly knew what he was doing and I’d imagine that isn’t in his job description, so he didn’t have to do that. Feels good to have an experience like this these days. Highly recommend this store and Dillon specifically!

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
