I've used Safelite for years no issue. However this last time was a different experience. With the first appointment (4 days after the incident) they brought the wrong glass (no heat element). On the second appointment 1 week later they called during my wait time to let me know they had a newer tec and he wasnt experienced enough to do a rear window. This lead to waiting another week for a new tec/appointment. So 3 weeks went by with me not being able to drive bc the rear window was shattered and the first tec didnt leave a protected layer (I later found out he was supposed to) and we had to get a rental as they told me the window would blow out if the doors were shut.

Ordered a windshield for my truck with the blue sun strip across the top. They said no problem. Pick it up and there’s no blue sunshade strip, black glue all over my front fenders, the hood, the scraped my inspection sticker off and left it completely shredded in my passenger seat because “they don’t put stickers back on anymore”, left a pile of trash on my dash. Apparently the BLUE sunshade strip that’s suppose to be across the top I can only get from the dealership and oh yea by the way “there is a sunshade strip there, it’s just clear”. I don’t buy it but whatever

Dealing with this office is a nightmare. Ignore any other reviews, and save yourself the trouble and go to any other SAFELITE (usually they have great service, but NOT here). A 2.5 hours service turned into more than an entire workday with no communications whatsoever. I dropped off my vehicle for work at 930 for a windshield replacement. They told us it should be done 2.5-3 hours and they would call us with updates with any issues. We showed up at this time expecting to wait a bit. We saw them drive it around the front, and were told it would probably be a few minutes. We waited another hour patiently, and went back to the front desk. Our card was also charged for service at this point. They told us it was not recalibrating correctly, and the tech was going to try again in another 1.5 hours. No updates and no communications, and they knew we were sitting the lobby waiting. So now it’s been 4 hours. We drive around trying to kill time. We return about an hour later and my car is sitting in exact same parking spot untouched. We call corporate, and they cannot get ahold of them after multiple attempts (corporate was very kind and respectful, unlike this office). We wait another hour sitting by our car in parking lot - still untouched. We walk inside at this point at 6ish hours of waiting and the tech finally came out to check our car again. They cannot get it to work, but state the windshield is safe to drive with but normal functions like lane departure are not working. They make excuses. We do not expect perfection but we do expect respect and kindness. 7 hours in, still waiting for this to resolve. Horrendous and honestly disturbing how much they do not care after we have tried to be patient and communicate with them. Having to take my car hope and it’s not even functioning up to its full standard now, so we have to find another shop to get it service complete.

On the positive side, everyone I have interacted with has been nice and professional. However, there have been significant problems with workmanship and customer service.
1. When getting the glass replaced, I was told it would be 60-90 minutes. It was well over two hours.
2. Within hours after the repair, a new crack had appeared on the new windshield, an indication of an improper installation. I called to get it fixed again and was scheduled for a home visit.
3. When the technician arrived for the home visit, he confirmed that it was a stress crack from improper installation but said that he couldn't replace it because it had been less than a week and a replacement this soon would not work. He said that he would have the scheduler call to arrange another visit.
4. After many days, I had no call from a scheduler, and my calls to the technician were unanswered. I called customer service and scheduled to drop my car off for a replacement under warranty. She said I needed to wait at least 72 hours for them to get the glass in stock, so I scheduled it the next week.
5. This morning I dropped off the vehicle and got a call about 90 minutes later indicating that they could not replace the windshield. They said that they had not yet ordered the replacement windshield because they had in their records that they were merely checking to see if this was a stress crack (from improper installation). They said that they could install it tomorrow and asked if I could leave the car for them to do it then.
Bottom Line: The staff have been friendly but their work, follow-through, and attention to detail have been unacceptable.

This whole experience with safelite has been a nightmare, I originally scheduled service back on on 7/23/26 for a MOBILE appointment at my house on 7/31/26, waited all day then just after the appoint window ends I get a text message saying my appointment was canceled and rescheduled for 8/10, had to go through multiple hoops to get in touch with customer service which were of no help because all they will do is attempt to call the shop which surprising they could not get in touch with, so i had to reschedule my appoint for an in person visit which was a huge inconvenience for me....scheduled the appoint for that Tuesday and ran into more issues with waiting over an hour with an 8am appointment because the tech never showed up for work that day so finally get my car done, repair itself is fine and is holding however still has a divot in the windshield it self where the crack/chip originated, also had them apply the ceramic coat which was laughable bc its already worn off with a single car wash....also windshield wipers were replaced and at least the blade themselves were of a decent quality, that's right i said were because I also had to replace those because as i was going through the car wash one of the wipers came off and was blown off the car completely meaning that it was not properly installed how it managed to get through the week without flying off while driving was a miracle in itself....This has been an overall piss poor experience and when I arrived I had asked to look at the customer service notes about what had happened prior and they had no apology or offered me any type of compensation for the issues i faced prior to this recent incident. I advise getting your vehicle serviced else where...
