By far the worst service for a windshield chip repair. The tech literally took 15 mins to fill the chip. Since when does it only take 15 minutes? This shop should be closed. Beware this shop will cancel your appointment and no show, only to reschedule you to a different day without notice. Multiple calls to the store and Safelite call center only to be told the store will be in touch. Meanwhile, weeks later still no response to my service complaint. Something this simple should not require multiple attempts to be contacted.

Absolute nightmare of an experience at this Hull St. location. If you own a Tesla, avoid this shop entirely. They will gladly take your money for parts they refuse to install, give you the billing runaround, and return your vehicle damaged.
The Bait-and-Switch: Their corporate website aggressively upsells wiper blades. I paid an extra $66.74 for them. On my first visit, they didn't change them and snuck in aftermarket glass instead of OEM.
Unbelievable Billing Runaround: I went back to get the OEM glass and the blades. On my second pickup, the blades STILL weren't changed. When I called them out, the desk agent told me "we don't change wiper blades on Teslas." When I demanded my $66.74 back, she told me the only way to get a refund was to charge my credit card an ADDITIONAL $500 deductible, and wait for a $566.74 refund. Absolute predatory billing practice to hold a customer's money hostage. A manager named Logan Jenkins finally promised a refund a week and a half ago, but I’ve been totally ghosted and had to file a credit card dispute.
Property Damage & Safety Issues: To top it all off, they completely trashed the interior. I have black windshield urethane tar permanently stained onto my white seats. They left black debris and crumbles all over my white dashboard without cleaning up after themselves. Worst of all, they bent and warped my A-pillar cover so it no longer sits flush, leaving the interior trim completely exposed.
I am escalating this directly to my insurance provider (USAA) to demand they be removed as a preferred vendor. They are deceptive, unreachable by phone, and destructive to vehicles. Take your business elsewhere.
For your amusement, this is what am sending to my insurance company:
Formal Letter/Message to USAA Claims
Subject: Official Complaint and Damage Report Regarding Preferred Vendor (Safelite - Hull St.)
To USAA Claims Management,
I am writing to formally report a severe case of consumer fraud, predatory billing practices, and property damage committed by your preferred glass vendor, Safelite AutoGlass (Location: Hull St.). I originally utilized this shop based on USAA’s recommendation, but the experience has resulted in damage to my vehicle and an ongoing financial dispute.
I request that USAA opens a supplemental property damage claim to cover the restoration of my vehicle's interior, and I strongly urge corporate review regarding Safelite's status as a preferred merchant.
Summary of Events & Vendor Misconduct:
Deceptive Practices: Safelite charged me an additional $66.74 for wiper blades via their online portal. Upon pickup, the blades were not replaced. When confronted, store staff explicitly stated they "do not service Tesla wipers," meaning they knowingly sold a product they refuse to install.
Predatory Billing: When I requested a refund for the unfulfilled parts, the desk agent insisted that the only way to process it was to charge my credit card an additional $500 deductible to trigger a total system reversal. I refused to allow them to hold my funds hostage. A manager named Logan Jenkins promised a refund on May 5th, but I have since been ghosted and forced to file a credit card dispute.
Property Damage to Tesla Interior: The vehicle was returned to me with black urethane windshield adhesive smeared onto my white seats. Black installation debris was left scattered across my white dashboard. Furthermore, the technicians bent and damaged the passenger-side A-pillar trim cover during the installation, leaving it warped and unseated (photos attached).
As a loyal USAA member, I trusted your referral. Safelite has failed to deliver basic services, attempted unauthorized billing maneuvers, and structurally/cosmetically damaged my vehicle's interior.
Please contact me immediately to advise on how USAA will handle the supplemental repairs for the damaged A-pillar trim and the professional cleaning/replacement of the stained upholstery.

Only giving 1 star because I can’t give 0. I was told my service would be 2-3 hours and it ended up being 4.5 hours (I was waiting onsite with my THREE toddlers). Upon return of my vehicle, there was damage to the interior of my car and as of now, there has been no remedy, refund, or agreement to pay for the damages THEY caused.

The windshield was replaced but there were multiple issues:
1.Part of my cowl trim panel is now broken.
2.My vent is broken because instead of unscrewing a phone mount it appears to have just been pulled.
3. Scraps from the repair were left in my car
4. They left part of my wiper assembly under the hood of my car, which luckily I pointed out before I left and was restored. But at first they said it was broken due to the same reason my trim panel was broken. It turned out to be completely false. They just misplaced the parts.
5.The windshield was already scuffed when it was installed.
6. They were not forthcoming about the issues of things being broken. I had to ask. Then suddenly they started discussing it.

This was my 3rd time getting a windshield repaired here throughout the years and never had a negative experience until this last time. Not sure what went wrong on their end, but took one visit to my house (initial replacement) and two visits to the shop to get my windshield recalibrated. Even during the last visit, they said they were not sure if the calibration would work and that I might end up needing a new windshield again since there seems to be something wrong with the way the camera bracket was installed the first time. I’m not going back for a 3rd time to the shop for the same issue. The gave me 5 star service the first two replacements, but unsure why they couldn’t get it right this time after multiple visits.
