Very good experience. I got a state safety inspection and a pre-purchase inspection done for the first time. The people here were very fast, and prices are relatively cheap for the area. There was a bit of confusion with some communication, but overall I loved that they actually took the time to sit down and explain everything on the inspection report. It seems like they quoted a pretty reasonable price on repairs, and judging by what differed between the two reports, they were definitely honest with the state safety inspection.

One of, if not the last honest mechanics left ! I took my vehicle to the dealer to change my oil because they also do a 21 point inspection. When they recommended my brakes be done that day for $300 or $500 later on,...I told them I'd take it somewhere else. I brought it to McLean Shell and they charged me $290 for Front Brake Pads. It was lower than their original quoted Price of $340 too. If they don't need to charge you for work, they don't do it.
