Pulled up, walked in, and within 5 minutes had them taking care of my vehicle. Within an hour it was all taken care of. Friendly and easy to work with.

Had a flat tire caused by a nail at the construction site. Expecting to pay for a new tire but these heroes patched me up. 10/10 would recommend

I had a mixed experience at the NTB in Manassas. I made a reservation for new tire installation plus an alignment. I specifically ordered oversized tires because of a very mild lift on my SUV and clearly noted that in the reservation comments. Check-in went fine and they said it would be about an hour and a half, which seemed reasonable. The vehicle finally moved at the 45-minute mark. Shortly after, an employee came in and questioned me about the oversized tires. We got past that, and I assumed everything was moving forward. When they finally pulled my SUV around front, I was called up to pay. That’s when they told me they hadn’t done the alignment because the lift made the machine “go crazy.” I was pretty disappointed — I chose NTB specifically so I could get both the tires and alignment done in one place. The tires were expensive ($316 each), and I didn’t want to risk wearing them unevenly by skipping the alignment. I asked for a recommendation on where to go next, and they suggested VA Tire and Auto. It felt off because I had literally just seen them handling calls/business for that same shop while I was standing there. In the end, I paid for the tires and had to go home and do my own research to find a reputable place for the alignment, which ended up wasting even more of my time. The tires were installed fine and the staff was mostly polite, but the lack of communication about the alignment and the runaround at the end left a sour taste. I expected better coordination, especially after providing all the details upfront.

TL;DR — I have been here a couple of times since it’s in walking distance to my house and my experience has been generally good—good service, reasonable prices—but usually only when Raz (who I think is the Owner/Manager?) or the older gentleman there (who I think is the Shop Lead?) is helping me out. In general, be smart about what’s been done on your car and pay attention. My last visit was the perfect example: Last time I came in, I had bought my own tires and brought my car in to get them installed. Over the phone, another rep insisted I would have to pay the full labor charge, but when I came in Raz gave me the discounted rate given I’ve been there so many times. While it was there, they went ahead and did a state inspection where they failed my windshield wipers saying that they were “screeching”. I had just replaced them myself 1-1/2 years ago. I should have pushed back but I gave the go ahead to replace them, not thinking about how much they cost even though they told me($30 per wiper!! The same brand costs 1/2 that on Amazon). I didn’t really think about how much they cost until I got up to the desk and realized they had installed the same brand that I had installed myself. Raz gave me a discount and I really appreciate that but there might be a new guy in the back that isn’t so honest? The alignment was good and the prices for everything were fair, though. I have had my oil change done here a couple times and never had a problem except for my most recent oil change, where they left a good amount of oil on the engine because it stank for a while after (something that hadn’t happened before). The sticker also had a “next oil change” number that was for 3000 miles later. 🙄 I have also had them tell me in the past that I needed certain things replaced (filters, spark plugs, etc.) when I have definitely done them myself very recently. Again, I’ve said a couple negatives, but they’re generally good service, fair prices, and great location. They’re also pretty good about warning you when stuff needs to be done to your car without upselling—but! Just be smart about your car, and what’s been done on it. And shop your options, especially on the more expensive repairs. Thank you for your amazing service, Raz! If it wasn’t for you, this review would be a way more mid.

I went to fix a a flat. I had an appointment with another mechanic for 4 new rotors and pads the next day. They wanted to know the quote from other guy and they’d beat it. Then they came and told me I only needed back rotors and brake pads and I said no I need all 4. We went back and forth but I’m not used to a mechanic telling me I need less work. Anyways, they only did the back. When I left the lot I was 100% sure I was right bc the car was still shaking when braking - I absolutely needed all 4 and took the car somewhere else to finish the work.
