  I want to start by saying that I actually love Valvoline as a company and have always had good experiences with their services. The Valvoline on Old Forest, in particular, is AMAZING and the staff there has always been professional and helpful. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my experience today at the Timberlake location. I went in today to have my daytime running light replaced. I brought the replacement bulb with me because I was told they did not have that particular bulb in stock. My car was literally alerting me to check the light, and I could clearly see that the light was out. The manager who assisted me had an extremely rude and nasty attitude. He was damn near raising his voice at me while insisting that all of my lights were working, despite the fact that I could clearly see the light was out and my car was telling me there was an issue. He then proceeded to tell me that the place where I purchased the bulb had given me the wrong light. The bulb was not the problem. If he wasn’t familiar with the particular light or wasn’t able to perform the service, that could have simply been explained to me professionally. Instead, he was argumentative and spoke to me as though I didn’t know what I was talking about. I have no issue with a business telling me they cannot complete a service. What I do have an issue with is being spoken to disrespectfully and having someone raise their voice at me instead of simply explaining the situation. Again, I love Valvoline, and my experiences at the Old Forest location have been great. This review is specifically about the customer service I received from the manager at the Timberlake location today. One bad interaction won’t make me stop using Valvoline, but I definitely will not be returning to this location.

  I recently went there to get my oil changed and they were great people! They make it a nice a chill process with feedback on the state of your car for any future car issues/maintenance to look out for. I found out my car battery had some really low voltage and needed to be changed soon. This company also offer discounts! You should ask if you qualify for anything!

  I brought my daughter’s vehicle in for an oil change and the Valvoline team was professional and thorough. Kenny, the Assistant Manager, explained all available services clearly with no pressure to add on any additional services. I would definitely recommend to others.

  Great experience - the staff at this location has worked on my personal vehicle and many other vehicles in my occupation's work fleet. They are knowledgeable and will get you in and out as fast as they can. The assistant manager, Kenny, will go above and beyond. I also recommend Thor when you go here too - he will make sure you have all the services you need.
