  Missing screws on air filter housing. Oil spilled on hood, bumper and fenders. Employees denied everything when I went back and were "smokin something" next to dumpster. Complained to corporate and they promised to address and was going to send me a discount to other locations. Discount was never received or any further communications...

  Expensive but you’re paying for convenience. I called the phone number and spoke to an operator and she sent me a $25 coupon, As a matter of fact, she offered it. I didn’t even have to ask so I think they understand. It’s kind of highly priced and there’s always coupons. Overall, it was less than 15 minutes, and the two guys that helped me were very knowledgeable and polite Still wish it was about $15 less and I’d be coming back here for oil change. I probably still will.

  Recently my daughter had her oil changed at the Tuckahoe Valvoline. When she came to visit I noticed oil in the driveway and the car was idling horribly. I immediately had her take the car to the local service station. I was shocked at the diagnosis! The oil drain plug was screwed on so tight that it cracked and the oil filter was crossed threaded and bent causing a leak! Hopefully we caught it in time but who knows what damage is done. So far its cost us an additional over $200 to fix the problems and another oil change. Also since the oil change, her hood latch appears to be damaged she told me that the technician yanked so hard on the hood without disengaging the latch that it appears to be bent. My daughter saw this and brought it up to the manager who said yanking on the hood would not damage the latch! Really???. I am reaching out to the manager today and to Valvoline Corporate but we are extremely disappointed in the quality of service we have experienced from an established company. Lets see what response we get for this disservice!

  They were not busy. I was the only customer. They would not rotate my tires. When they checked my air filter, they were unable to blow it out. They spilled oil all over the motor and front bumper. When I opened the hood to clean it up, they only put one (out of 4) air filter screws back in. Within 20 minutes of them finishing, I had to drive back and all three employees were at the dumpster smoking weed. They claimed that they did not lose them and would not help or even apologize for the oil mess or missing screws. DO NOT GO HERE. I’m currently at the auto parts store trying to replace the screws.

  I came to this location because it is close to where I live, but I won’t be returning. I arrived and got in line like normal, my daughter and I waited 45 minutes and it was finally our turn. When we first arrived there was two cars waiting to get into bay 1 and one car waiting to get into bay 2, so I obviously got into the bay 2 line. I was being waived in when another worked told me to stop, so I did. Then the worker asked who originally waived me in came to me and told me I needed to back up my car and let the person beside of me go in front of me. I said that it wasn’t fair to me because I waited my turn. They said it is our store policy first come first serve. At this point there were two cars behind me and one car behind the person beside me. I requested to speak to a manager because at this point my daughter was crying very loudly and I had already waited 45 minutes. Another person came over and told me I had to back up and let them go in front of me. I asked they if it was truly worth it to make 4 people back up just to save someone 5 minutes. They responded that it is just their policy and I requested to see where this policy was posted. They then allowed me to pull into the bay. While doing my oil change, they never even filled up the air in my tires. I know this because my tire pressure light was on before I went in and on when I left. Not to mention that they could not put my skid plate back on because Valvoline had stripped the bolts holding it on and now had to zip tie it on. Little did I know that the bolts that were there previously had been stripped inside my car by Valvoline. Instead of offering me a solution to the issue or even telling me that the bolts were stripped inside my car and they can’t remove them and that I would need to go to a body shop to have this fixed, they offered to throw away my skid plate. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a Valvoline and I will not return to this facility ever again.
