I got an appointment that fit my schedule. When the repair was not going to be a long term fix, they applied what I paid for a windshield replacement. The replacement was on time and on budget. Overall, I’m very happy with the work!

Took vehicle in for my Aunt. Had an appointment for 10:30 and told to arrive 15 minutes early. Needed rear passenger window replaced. Told it would take 1-2 hours, no calibration needed. At noon, saw tech leaning on vehicle on his phone, having not started on work. Spoke with manager and was told it would be another hour. Didn’t leave until 1:15. Tech was unprofessional and the waiting area needed cleaning. Dead bug on floor.

Worst Safelite location I have ever used. I have used Safelite many times over the years paying with and without insurance. The technician showed up to my mobile repair appointment on a Friday and began working on my car. After about 15 minutes he called me back outside to inform me of a small scratch on the windshield and asked if I was still willing to accept it. When I asked if there was any type of discount for receiving a defected supposed to be brand new windshield, he called the office to ask someone to which I heard her ask if he was checking the windshield when loading them in the morning and he replied that “he did, but sometimes customers are still willing to accept them”. They told me that they could not offer any discount, and that the scratch was also not covered under their warranty for the new windshield. When I asked if I could get a new one instead, they couldn’t come back with another one until after that weekend when I had already taken off this day to get it done so unfortunately, I accepted it anyway. After hours of working on my windshield, the technician got to the end and was not able to calibrate the new windshield and I was told to bring it into the shop the following morning to be calibrated. Before leaving he collected my $250 deductible on his portable device, I took my car in the next morning and got it calibrated and then was told I was good to go. Later that day I got a phone from a woman who was incredibly rude saying that I still needed to pay my deductible to which I told her that I already had the day before. Her reply was that it didn’t go through and that I would need to pay again, to which I told her that I could see in my bank account while on the phone with her where the money had come out already. Instead of apologizing or explaining that their technician had processed it incorrectly they treated me as if I was just trying to not pay my bill which I THOUGHT I ALREADY HAD. And now they expect me to trust giving them my credit card information over the phone or written on a piece of paper in the mail instead of offering me a secure way to pay this bill for the second time, and still no apology or any acknowledgment of their mistakes. If I could go back I would never have used this Safelite, and highly encourage everyone else to look elsewhere to save themselves this headache.

They replaced my windshield, but have problems calibrated the system. So they reorder me a windshield and put the windshield in. They still have problem calibrated the system. They said the cruise control will not work properly. Specialist for them said because my front tire sensor was not working properly.Would cause the cruise control to not work properly. Well, the front tire sensor was out before the windshield replacement, but the cruise control worked properly. I asked him to ask their supervisor to give me a call. No one called me. Here is the funny part. When outside to drive my car, the cruise control work properly. They still don't know, I have no problem now.

The initial problem started when I booked the service and the window was not in for the scheduled service day. I was then told I had to also schedule an earlier time due to recalibration. This was the day of my appointment. This was allowed to happen in the system with it knowing that a recalibration was needed. This made both my wife and I schedules adjust last minute. This is the second time the windshield was not ready. The first time the other safelite went and retrieved the windshield and installed it quickly recalibrated and we were on our way not this time. I then sat in the waiting room for over four hours after asking several times about the status of my car. I saw several people come in late and leave before me all that needed calibrations as well. My glass was changed out early in the afternoon then I sat and waited till I was the second to last customer I the store and the store was almost closed. I had little to no offered interactions from the employees. By the time they finally finished the vehicle I think they realized the mistake since I had asked about my car several times at this point and was growing irritated. Only to find out that I had asked for the OEM glass to be installed and frustratingly enough it was not installed. When I stepped on my brake pedal after starting my car it went to the floor and remained spongy till I pumped the brakes for a few moments while in park. I realize this is due to the recalibration but a warning or even ensuring that is complete before hand would have been nice and I feel like that should not have happened. This is by far the worse experience I have had. If I had the ability to leave or remove the windshield and take my business elsewhere from this location I would have in a heartbeat.
