  I had an extremely disappointing experience with Safelite from start to finish. I took my vehicle there through my insurance company for a windshield replacement, and during the removal process the technician accidentally cut into the frame of my car. Because of the damage, my vehicle had to be sent to a body shop for repairs. What made the situation even worse was the communication. They failed to inform me in a timely manner about what had happened, and by the time they finally told me I wouldn’t be getting my car back that day, every local rental car location was already closed. I ended up having to Uber over an hour to Richmond airport just to get a rental car. After several days, I finally got my vehicle back and was told that, due to how badly the situation had been handled, my deductible would be reimbursed. That was two months ago. Since then, I’ve made multiple calls and sent multiple emails, and each time I’ve been told it would be taken care of — yet I still haven’t received anything. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through throughout this entire process was unacceptable. I would think very carefully before trusting them with your vehicle.

  My car was damaged. Seal around windshield is not flush with windshield. Plastic at bottom of windshield was broken in two. I have scratch/ cut marks on metal surrounding windshield. Bolts was broken that attaches wipers to car. DO NOT USE SAFELITE if you care about your vehicle!! I am looking for my windshield to leak since the seal is not flush.

  Took PTO from work for two different appointments to get my windshield fixed and they were missing my windshield for both appointments. I understand that things happen, but it was the lack of communication from the office workers who knew that the windshield was missing before I got there is why I am giving them one star. She actually had a list of seven other missing windshields and I asked her if she had contacted those people yet to let them know that they should not show for their appointment. Her reply was no I haven’t had time.

  Had windshield replaced, and the tech broke the rear view mirror, and claimed it was already broken. Called the main store after getting the run around for days, only for them to send the same tech out and lie. Not only did he break it on the initial appointment he hid the pieces inbetween the seats, so if you want your stuff broken and then lied to this is your place! And their "irrefutable " proof that it was broken ahead of time was the picture he took after he broke it and the end of the appointment according to the time stamps. Worst customer service and techs....

  If, I could I would give 0 stars. I scheduled appointment for 0830-0930AM and upon checking I was told it was an all day drop off. I showed the windows clerk my emailed appt and crickets???? She states it's confusing but it's not. Anyways I was able to find a ride. I Come back to check since it's posted hours is 5pm close. I get there and my car is still parked in the same spot I left it. Spoke with Manager Wakeelah Baker and she was no better than the clerk. The unprofessionalism for not caring for the blatant inconvenience to the customer is absurd. What was supposed to be a scheduled appt turned into and all day drop off which was not stated to me until I arrived to check-in has cost me $45 in Uber fees thus far and all the manger has to say is we thought it night be some cancelations but it wasn't unfortunately. I will not recommend this location ever again. Oh by the way I still have to pay to come back whenever it is ready??¿? I will also report thos to my insurance company for SA.
