  This is a review of the Gun Counter only: We picked up an order from the Gun counter, and it took them 2 HOURS from when we got there until we were able to leave with our order. That is ridiculous, and we were unable to make our reservations due to their insanely slow to non-existent service. They hid the sign with the code to join the virtual line to be serviced to prevent people from joining the line and getting help. There were at least 3 employees standing around behind the gun counter, not helping anyone the entire time. We were only picking up an order, so we did not require any help looking at the items or deciding what to buy, and we had already paid. This should have been a quick 20 minutes maximum to fill out the paperwork and leave with our order. There was no delay in our approval of our paperwork electronicly. In fact, it came back approved instantly. 2 HOURS to PICKUP an order is RIDICULOUS. We are very upset with this experience.

  I am from Richmond and we visited this location on our way home from a wonderful day at the beach. I had to ask for them to call an associate to the shoe department after standing there for 15 minutes waiting, the associate had an attitude of I was inconveniencing her, didn’t even stay to see if they fit, just handed them to me and walked away out of the shoe department! THEN to top off and already horrible experience, we stood In line for 40 minutes to check out!! There were associates at the customer service desk chatting it up, looking at the line and then go right back to talking, the manager walked by messed with the carts and then went to chatting it up with the woman at the customer service desk. The blonde at the desk finally called ONE customer up and checked them out. This was a horrible, disappointing experience and made me very thankful for our store here in Richmond who cares about their customers, and appreciates us. This store needs to do better and I will NEVER frequent this store again and I will spread the word to all of my friends who hunt and fish bc this experience was mind blowing and incredibly disappointing.

  We love this store! There is something for everyone in our family to explore. It’s even a fun place for the kids to go see the fish in the big tank. The bathrooms are a bit too rustic for my taste and could use new toilet seats but other than that everything is great and we go regularly.
