Pristine Exteriors

*I have never left a one-star review before, but this experience absolutely earned one.*
I called Tire Choice this morning because I needed an emergency tire swap on my company truck. I was told they had an opening at 9:00 AM, which I immediately accepted because I had multiple jobs scheduled for the day.
When I arrived, the man at the front desk had no idea about the appointment. I explained that I had a full-size spare and simply needed the flat tire swapped out.
His response was, **“You don’t know how to change a spare tire?”** He then proceeded to laugh at me to my face.
Absolutely unacceptable way to speak to a customer.
I explained that it had nothing to do with not knowing how to change a tire. I’m a contractor with multiple jobs scheduled, and my full-size work truck was carrying a pressure-washing skid weighing thousands of pounds. I wasn’t going to waste time purchasing a heavy-duty jack and doing it myself when I had already called a TIRE SHOP, confirmed a 9:00 AM appointment, and was willing to pay them to do it.
He then told me they “don’t do that,” but that he would make an exception. He called over a technician, and about five minutes later the technician came outside and asked me what I needed. So, for the THIRD time, I had to explain the exact same situation.
Instead of simply helping me, the technician blamed the scheduling problem on their virtual assistant in Pakistan, as if their company’s decision to outsource appointment scheduling was somehow my problem. He then complained that changing the tire would be a hassle because he would have to use a manual jack and apparently didn’t want to use the lift inside the shop.
At that point, I’d had enough. I told them to forget it, left, and took my business somewhere else.
I own a small service business myself, and I cannot imagine treating a potential customer this way. If someone calls me with an urgent problem, schedules an appointment, shows up ready to PAY ME to solve it, the last thing I’m going to do is mock them, laugh in their face, complain about how inconvenient their job is, and make them feel like they’re bothering me by trying to give me money.
I didn’t come in asking for a favor. **I came in as a paying customer with a confirmed appointment.**
Maybe they were having a bad morning. Maybe they didn’t want the job. Either way, laughing at a customer and belittling them is unbelievably unprofessional.
They made it very clear they didn’t want my business, so they won’t have to worry about getting it again.
*I will never return to this location, and I certainly will not recommend it to anyone.*
