When she was unable to resolve a warranty claim and I asked for my information to be given to her boss she initially refused because "he wont do anything" and who knows when he will get back to you. What a joke of customer service. Her logic is nonsense and reminds me why I use other stores for my needs. As you can see in the photo the battery is in warranty and the store refuses to honor it. Saying I could have purchased it sooner and had more of a warranty then the one I already have and that makes a difference right. Id rather give my money to the homeless before shopping here again.

The guys at this store (Dustin in particular) were super friendly and helpful - they replaced my battery, which fixed the problem and got my car back on the road. It was a great experience on a day that was otherwise not going well - really appreciated it.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
