- NSNailo SearsSep 13, 20265.0In February I bought a used Lincoln Navigator. It had every option I wanted, and as I'd soon find out, a mechanical to-do list about as long as its wheelbase. Now, these days engines are falling out of brand-new $100k trucks, so I figured a used one with a few battle scars wasn't the worst gamble. I decided to keep it and fix it right. Almost every bit of that work has been done by Walter and his team at United Mechanics, including the transmission and catalytic converters. At this point I don't even call it my truck anymore. It's OUR truck. Walter's probably seen more of it than I have. What I'm most grateful for is the honesty. They never pushed me into anything. When I wasn't ready for a big job, they did a solid temporary fix to keep me safe and on the road until I could do it properly. Then did it right. That kind of professionalism and truthfulness is rare, and it's exactly why I keep coming back. It took some time, but she runs great now, and I'm glad I kept her. If you've got a vehicle worth saving, these are the people you want in your corner.

The waiting room has comfortable seating with magazines and any number of blockbuster hit playing on the TV. The staff is professional and courteous. Their techs are skilled and professional. The parking is tight but manageable. Fair and honest auto shop, which are getting harder and harder to find.
