  They did a great job and would give them 5 starts. But I ubered home at around 30 bucks with tip, only to have them call me less than an hour and a half later that they were done. Another almost 30 bucks for uber. I told them I could wait. They said "oh no, we might not get to it until late this afternoon". Come on, do better than that. It was almost 900 for the windshield.

  These guys are awesome, from coordinating insurance to finding a good time to do the work. Technician Chris was a true professional...he knew what he was doing. He even worked to balance other jobs (with garages and cover) with ours (no cover) to ensure he got us in before the rain. Above and beyond! Who does that anymore, right??? He obviously cared about his customers. Very happy and would use again.

  They sent Christopher to my home to replace my windshield and he did a phenomenal job. Very respectful from beginning to end. Helped me with the payment processed and was very patient with me having my 1 year old in my arms. He explained everything thoroughly and kept me up to date on his progress. My Windshield is good to go and I would highly recommend Christopher to anybody because he loves his job and works hard to provide the best service.

  Absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. NEGATIVE 5 stars I scheduled a mobile service appointment and followed the instructions provided in the confirmation email. The only requirements I was given were to make sure there was enough room for the technician to work and to leave the key in the truck. I did exactly that. The entire point of a mobile service is convenience. I don't have time to take the vehicle to a shop, which is why I paid for a service that comes to me. The expectation is simple: show up, perform the work, and get paid. Instead, when I called to check on the status of the appointment, the technician immediately started making excuses before I could even ask a question. I was told that he knocked on the door and nobody answered, that he needed the keys, that there were aftermarket lights on the truck, and that I owed a balance before the work could be completed. None of that makes sense. Why would a mobile service technician need me to answer the door when the vehicle and key were left exactly as instructed? Why wasn't I informed beforehand that payment was required before any work could begin? What repair shop expects customers to pay in full before the work is performed? Most customers pay after the service is completed because that provides confidence that the job was actually done correctly. Requiring payment before the work is performed, while simultaneously refusing to complete the service, is unacceptable. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and a complete waste of my time. I will never use Safelite again, and now I understand why multiple people advised me to avoid them in the first place.
