Brought our Flex in and dropped off for two recall issues. When the appt was made I was told “we have the parts”. Received a VM that afternoon vehicle was complete and ready for pickup. When I picked it up late in the day the service writer was gone. When I got in the Flex I found out the backup camera was still
Malfunctioning. The person on duty researched best he could and said the camera wasn’t available at this time. That would be fine but NO communication about that had been made to me. So I am not pleased!

I originally brought my truck to Purvis Ford experiencing severe transmission stalling, clunking, and gear hesitation. The service department diagnosed the issue as a faulty Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Pump and charged me $1,671.31 for the diagnosis and Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Pump replacement. Within minutes of driving away from the dealership, the vehicle exhibited the exact same transmission malfunction symptoms and the orange wrench light illuminated. When I picked my vehicle up after returning it the first time, the service department stated that the truck needed to be driven around more for the codes to reset and it was operating correctly.
Upon returning the the vehicle a second time with the same transmission symptoms, a technician pulled code P07F7 and finally admitted the vehicle suffered from an internal CDF clutch drum bushing failure - a heavily documented design defect covered under Ford TSB-25-2475. The service department then quoted me $9,300 for a total replacement with a 60-day turnaround time and refused to provide a loaner vehicle. Because Purvis Ford left me without transportation for two months, I was forced to take my vehicle to an independent repair facility.
When I first dropped my truck off, code P076F (Gear 7 Incorrect Ratio) was pulled during the very first scan alongside P0C29. Per Ford service literature, P076F is a direct mechanical indicator of internal clutch slippage caused by the failing CDF drum bushing. An auxiliary pump cannot cause an incorrect gear ratio code while driving. Purvis Ford's service department ignored a severe internal mechanical fault code, replaced an external electrical pump that did not resolve my complaints, and returned an unsafe vehicle to me. They charged me to address a symptom of low hydraulic pressure while ignoring the root cause.
I emailed the Service Department and General Manager two weeks ago. I messaged the Owner three days ago. I have yet to receive a response about my concerns from anyone. I'm now having to take more of my time to escalate this to Ford Corporate. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership/repair shop.

This is the second truck I’ve purchased here in less than a year, and the experience was nothing short of what I’ve come to expect from them. The price was very fair and the sales team was very motivated to make the sell, never once taking for granted my previous purchase. After the sell, I realized my truck was missing a dealer installed option listed on the window sticker, but before I could call them, they had already reached out to me. This is the type of integrity that will bring me back, time and again.

Due to a tree falling on top of my girlfriend’s 2025 Ford Expedition Max last Tuesday while she was driving down Jim Morris Road in Spotsylvania we were in need of a new vehicle very quickly. I’ve had a long relationship with Purvis Ford and I called my salesman Ross Decatur and sent him the pictures of the totaled one and said I need a new one. They had exactly what we were looking for and picked up a new 2027 Ford Expedition Max on Wednesday at 6. Ross and Karen Smith ( Finance manager) took care of everything via text and email like they always do. Couple of signatures when I got there and we were off. Outstanding customer service is hard to find but you can find it at Purvis Ford!!!!

I had a spectacular experience with Purvis, and I can’t recommend them enough!
After unfortunately being involved in an accident that left my vehicle totaled, I spent the following weekend visiting several dealerships throughout Fredericksburg in search of a replacement. While I looked at a number of vehicles, none of the dealerships truly stood out.
The moment I walked into Purvis, I was warmly welcomed by Andrews. Although he’s a salesperson, he’s so much more than that. From the very beginning, Andrews was professional, accommodating, empathetic about the loss of my vehicle, and incredibly easy to talk to.
What impressed me most was that he never once tried to pressure me into buying a vehicle I didn’t want. Instead, he took the time to listen to exactly what I was looking for and found a vehicle that checked every box.
When I left Purvis after my first visit, I already knew they had earned my business. Why? Because of the way they made me feel. The entire experience was relaxed, transparent, and completely pressure-free. At no point did I feel rushed or anxious.
About a week later, I drove off the lot in my brand-new 2026 Bronco, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
If you’re looking for a new vehicle and want exceptional customer service paired with genuine professionalism, I highly recommend Andrews and the entire team at Purvis.
They truly won’t let you down!
