  Purvis Ford cares about their customers. When businesses send out feed back reviews; it means they do care. Some of the areas of improvement: Vehicle repair status updates to the customer for longer stays ( especially for holding a vehicle over a week ). I know this is hard to do but; addressing a customer by name ( very easy when you have their paperwork in hand. Purvis Ford did a great job on my repair and would recommend them.

  Very friendly staff, but would not recommend their service department. I've brought my van in 3 different times for the exact same issue (air bag light), and still do not have a diagnosis after spending $300 and receiving a two page document of unrelated items "that need fixing" totaling thousands of dollars. The last two *scheduled* appointments I made they didn't even have a tech available to look at it, no less fix it. Why you would schedule customers to come in when they can't help I'm not sure, but at least have the courtesy to communicate the situation before having you waste time and energy dropping off and picking up your vehicle multiple times with no results. Attempted to reach the service manager via email on two different occasions but received no response back. (I wasn't planning to leave a review, but Ford auto-texted me asking if I'd leave one so here we are... hopefully it helps someone avoid similar frustration)

  The customer service I received when making the appointment and dropping off the vehicle was efficient and professional. Unfortunately, the communication and follow-up once the vehicle was in the shop were unacceptable. When I needed a clear answer regarding when the repair would be completed and how long the process would take, my calls were repeatedly sent to voicemail. The customer service representative did not answer or return my calls despite multiple attempts to reach him. We ultimately had to stop by the shop in person simply to get an update on our vehicle. Customers should not have to repeatedly call or physically visit the shop to receive basic information about the status of a repair. The lack of communication was frustrating and unprofessional, and this aspect of the customer service experience needs significant improvement.

  Against my better judgment I took my car to the dealership to get my plugs changed. Was quoted $650 which I believe to be excessively expensive but I did it anyway. Tech broke one of the plugs and the rep called to say it would cost an additional $185 to remove it. When I questioned why I had to pay so much, he the mansplained it to me like I was a 12 year old kid- complete with the heavy breathing and disdain that they all have for customers. Don’t you think this is something they should tell you up front when you are quoted a price? I do. Also beware that they will charge a 3% surcharge on paying with a credit card. This is technically legal but really bad business model. Just another way to rip off the customer. Try to pay with a debit card so they don’t charge you. I’ve purchased 5 vehicles from Purvis, but will reconsider after this visit.

  These people are the biggest pieces of scum I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I went in for a warranty oil change, they had me drop my car off at 9am said soonest it's gonna be is 3 hours we will not take you home or drop your vehicle off when it's done. They then proceeded to fail my car's inspection for windshield wiper blades. They sold me an overpriced solution for $50. "But don't worry we won't charge you for labor" They then told me that I was sold an inferior warranty and that it wouldn't cover a full synthetic like my engine needed, so I had to pay extra for that as well. Upon releasing my vehicle to me, the technician pointed out that my brake fluid was low. I asked, why didn't you top it off? As it is part of the warranty coverage, I have to top off my fluids. He said it could be indicative of a failing brake system. Yet the only thing they could fail me on my inspection for was my windshield wiper blades. These people are the biggest scamming scumbags. I have ever dealt within my entire life. On top of that, they did not do the cabin filter or engine air filter replacement. Because they didn't have the parts in stock. Their top priority was closing at 3 PM sharp, forcing me to bring my vehicle back if I wanted basic service that was covered under the warranty I was sold. Mind you They had my car from 9 AM to 3 PM and couldn't figure that out until minutes before closing. Literally with every possible fiber of my being I will trash your company until my dying breath to anyone who will give me the time of day.
