Drove off the same day in a new vehicle!
Hakeem- Sales Agent was amazing, polite and cared for my concerns about my purchase, and any questions I had, he was able to answer them with all honesty and in a timely manner and was amazingly helpful, i was very confident in making my purchase for a new vehicle. Additional Sales Agents, Jeremy and James, were also very helpful in assisting me with my experience and purchase and were also able to answer questions that I needed answered. My experience was extremely excellent and I will recommend others to this location for rentals or to purchase a vehicle. 4601 Lassen Ln Fredericksburg, VA 22408 was a great experience because I was able to drive off in a new vehicle!!

I had previously left a 5-star review after purchasing a Mazda from this Enterprise Car Sales location in late April 2026. Unfortunately, a repair issue that Enterprise had agreed to address changed my overall impression of the experience.
To start with the positives, the vehicle was competitively priced and was a really great value compared to other models we found nearby. I didn't even know Enterprise sold vehicles until an employee on the rental side mentioned it to me. After looking through the inventory, we decided to make the trip up and work with Pete at this branch.
Pete was outstanding throughout the entire purchase process. He was professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and never once pressured us into making a purchase. After dealing with several pushy dealerships elsewhere in NoVA, that was refreshing and ultimately one of the reasons we chose to buy here. Pete gave us the space to inspect the vehicle, ask questions, compare options, and choose on our own without any pressure.
Before purchasing the car, we noticed an audible popping sound coming from the driver's door whenever it was opened. Enterprise had already taken the car to Mazda to have the issue inspected, but it had to be brought back so we could test drive it. We were assured that Enterprise would take care of the repair if we moved forward with the purchase. At the time, we all believed the issue was simply a loose bolt that needed tightening.
After the purchase, Safford Mazda determined that the issue was actually a failed door checker that required replacement. The part was on backorder, creating delays outside of anyone's control.
Where the experience began to fall apart was the process that followed. I paid a $219 diagnostic fee with the understanding that I would be reimbursed. While Enterprise ultimately honored that commitment, the reimbursement took well over a month and required multiple follow-ups on my part. I felt like I had to pull teeth to get any update on where the reimbursement was.
I also had a tense interaction regarding scheduling the repair around the manager, James', PTO, which ultimately required me to rearrange work commitments to get the issue resolved.
To be clear, I didn't want James to miss out on his PTO and was willing to (and did) work with him around it, but the way he communicated it to me on that call felt disrespectful as he talked over me while I attempted to find a solution.
He also made a comment during the conversation that he was frustrated that he had inherited this issue from the previous manager who had since been transferred prior to the diagnostic. I am sorry that it was a burden.
While I understand staffing and scheduling challenges happen, the interaction left me feeling as though the situation had become a burden rather than a real issue that needed resolution.
Another frustration was trying to find assistance beyond the local branch. I attempted to contact Enterprise through various publicly available numbers seeking guidance, but every avenue ultimately directed me back to the same branch.
To Enterprise's credit, they ultimately paid for the repair and reimbursed the diagnostic fee as promised. Pete remained professional and helpful throughout the entire process and deserves recognition for that. I also appreciate that Enterprise honored the agreement that was made before the sale was finalized.
In the end, I'm settling on a 3-star review. One star is for the quality and value of the vehicle. One star is for Pete's outstanding professionalism and customer service. The third star is because Enterprise ultimately honored its commitments by paying for the repair and reimbursing the diagnostic fee.
The two stars that were lost were due to the lack of communication and the tense interaction I had with James.
Thank you for the Mazda and thank you to Pete for his professionalism throughout the process. Thank you to James for honoring the agreement despite our tense call.
I hope for a better experience if I ever decide to come back for another car.

I had no idea Enterprise even sold vehicles.. however I bought my last vehicle through Carvanna, which was listed as a previous rental. That one was just totaled during a hit and run accident so I decided to skip the middle man and work directly with Enterprise to replace the exact same vehicle I had. Very highly recommend them, especially Courtney in the Fredericksburg office. She is amazing and very easy to work with. She went above and beyond to find exactly what I wanted!

I went in with my family with specific ideas of what I wanted to test drive. We immediately saw some vehicles that were definitely not on the list. Pete was gracious enough to let us test drive them just for fun. I was not impressed with the vehicles I thought I was interested in. Pete made a suggestion for a vehicle that ended up being the perfect fit. Even better, the price was slightly lower than the models I originally had in mind. Pete and the management team were top notch, unlike any other dealership experience I have had 10/10 would recommend. I plan on buying my next car from them. I can not give enough praise for the service and experience.
