- TBTaesia B3 days ago1.0I had a really disappointing experience with this store’s closing manager while trying to pick up an online order. My confirmation email specifically instructed customers to call for curbside pickup, so that’s exactly what I did. What’s even more frustrating is that I’ve been to this location multiple times, and I’ve used their curbside service before. So I know that’s something they’ve offered. When I called, the employee was immediately rude and dismissive, insisting they didn’t offer curbside service. When I explained I was simply following the instructions in my email, he continued to be unprofessional. He eventually came outside, identified himself as the closing manager, and made it seem like providing curbside service was some sort of special courtesy for me, rather than something I’d already been instructed to request. The interaction got worse when he asked me to open my car door, and after I did, he slammed it shut really hard before walking away. As a black woman, I left feeling disrespected and discriminated against by how I was treated. I understand policies may change, but there is no excuse for treating a customer that way, especially when they’re following instructions and have used the service before. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses both the behavior and how customers are treated at this location.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
