  Kayla, the manager, was absolutely amazing! I truly hope she receives the recognition she deserves, along with all the raises and promotions she has earned. Her outstanding service and dedication really stood out. Damian and Ernesto were also amazing and contributed to such a great experience. The entire team deserves appreciation for their hard work, and I hope their efforts are recognized. Thank you all for making my experience so positive!

  I placed a pickup order at the Advance Auto Parts in Fairfax, VA, on September 28, 2026. I arrived around 7 p.m. and was in a hurry because my brother’s car had broken down in a nearby shopping center parking lot. When I got to the store, the associates couldn’t locate my item, even though their system showed it had been set aside for pickup. Several associates took the time to look for it, including a gentleman who appeared to be in his 50s or 60s and seemed to be the store manager. I was about to give up and drive to another location farther away when he stepped in and offered me a similar item of higher value and quality at no extra charge. He apologized again when he handed it to me. That gesture meant a lot because I needed to get back to my brother and help him with his car. Every associate I encountered was friendly and helpful, and I especially want to recognize the gentleman who took charge and found a solution. I hope the store can identify him from the date, time, and description and give him the recognition he deserves. I would gladly shop at this location again.

  The battery I purchased last night was the wrong orientation for my car, but I didn't discover it until super late in the evening. I called the shop that night and talked to Shawnna, who apologized and told me that she'd take care of it. This morning she called me and told me that their driver would bring the correct battery directly to me so I wouldn't have to go back to the shop. Joanna met me at my car and exchanged the battery I had with the one I needed! Great service!

  Never have what I need and the people working there are clueless about cars. I guess the fact that the address/location on Google maps isn't even accurate should be a sign. Edit: Thanks for the response! Everyone else, go five minutes down the road to AutoZone for a much better experience.

  I placed an online order in the morning and was informed that it would be ready within 30 minutes. After not receiving any updates, I had to call around 2 PM to check on the status of my order. Within five minutes after my call, I received confirmation that it was ready for pickup. When I arrived at the store, I went to the area clearly marked “PICKUP.” One employee acknowledged me and said she would assist me after finishing with another customer. However, another employee saw me waiting multiple times and continued to avoid helping me. I would here be giggling within the employees which made me believe they did not want to help. She saw me and she looked away and hid behind the shelves. This frustrated me even more. After waiting even longer, the same employee who initially acknowledged me proceeded to help the next customer instead, and I was once again ignored and the other employee who ignored helped another customer, when clearly, she saw me waiting. At that point, I had to speak up and did a reminder that I was there for an order pickup. The employee appeared surprised, as though she had forgotten why I was waiting. She then told me to come to her area, stating that I was not standing in the correct pickup location, despite the clearly visible “PICKUP” sign where I had been waiting for a long time. She never told where to go for assistance, all she stated she would help once she would be done with her customer. This is not the first time I’ve experienced delays with online order pickups at this location, but this was the first time I felt completely ignored as a customer. From the delay in preparing my order to the lack of assistance in-store, the entire experience was very frustrating and disappointing. I am very dissatisfied with the level of customer service I received today.
