  Stay away from this place. Not only did they take nearly two months to repair my car, but they also initially ordered the wrong and damaged parts, which delayed the process even more. During that time, my car developed additional problems and eventually wouldn’t start. When I took it to another shop for diagnosis, while Meineke was trying to figure it out, they took almost two weeks just to say it was likely the starter and showed no urgency in actually beginning repairs—all while I was paying out of pocket for a rental car. I eventually had the car towed to a different shop, where they told me it might not even be the starter, but possibly an electrical issue. They also found missing parts and bolts, which likely happened while the car was getting body work done. Even after the repairs were supposedly finished, the original shop still failed to put everything back together properly.

  I had a very disappointing experience with Gerber Collision & Glass in Dumfries, VA while getting my 2025 Honda Pilot repaired. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into a 90+ day process with repeated issues and poor communication. After the initial repair, the vehicle was returned with a defective reconditioned headlight. The shop initially avoided responsibility, stating it was “insurance approved,” and only agreed to address it after I set up a three-way call with the insurance company—who confirmed that a reconditioned part should not be defective. When I brought the vehicle back, I also pointed out a loose passenger-side window molding. That issue was never properly fixed. Instead, the vehicle was returned with additional problems, including dashboard warning lights for a lane assist failure and a misaligned bumper. Each time I brought the car back, it either came back with the same unresolved issues or new ones. Communication was inconsistent, and follow-ups went unanswered—even after sending photos and requesting a call. The manager was given ample opportunity and time to correct these issues but ultimately failed to do so. At this point, I’ve lost confidence in this location’s ability to perform quality repairs and had to take my vehicle elsewhere to get the issues properly addressed. Based on my experience, this shop does not meet expected repair or customer service standards.

  took shop 6 weeks to repair my car and pushed back estimate pick up time twice and the said my battery had low voltage and wanted me to pay out of pocket to get it fixed and or maybe the alternator as i was going through insurance, but I know the car had been sitting for an extended period of time which means the alternator wasn’t able to charge the battery as the car hadn’t been driven regularly

  I had an appointment for an estimate. The staff were very friendly. I received a written copy of how much it would cost to make my car right. After going over what I wanted done, I called the body shop and left a message asking for a return call. I never heard back, so I called again and told the receptionist I needed a revised copy. She said someone would get back to me. Now it's been two weeks without a return call. I'm not in a rush to have my car fixed, so if they're busy, that's fine. All I asked for was a return call.
