  I use this branch at least 1-2 times per year and use Enterprise globally at least 5-6 times. When compared to the other branches and the effort made to match me with a suitable car, I feel Dulles could do a bit more unfortunately, especially as a plus customer. The car offered to me hadn't even been washed and then the one I wanted, another customer got there first. The remaining options were MUCH smaller than my choice which makes me wonder about the categories of car and how they group them. In the end, the supervisor matched me with a more suitable car, but it was frustrating that the Android Auto didnt work properly and so I could not set up my google maps. I hope my next visit to Dulles Enterprise is better as they could and should be a 5 star given that everything else is good and hand over is very smooth when returning to the airport and going to catch a flight.

  I had a rough Travel day into IAD today, but the rental car experience probably was the smoothest I have ever had. Van helped me and he had to have been the nicest gentleman ever. He was very kind and extremely helpful.

  Overal easy to get to and from airport, shuttles are ery frequent. car was not properly inspected or cleaned prior to rental. Found cell phone and baggage from previous customer. car interior and exterior was dirty, windshield extremely dirty inside with smears and smudges. Suggest improving cleaning and inspection of cars. I was not satisfied with how the car was presented or multiple calls to meet with previous customer to hand off baggage, cell phone was handed to enterprise attendant.

  Our biggest disappointment with Enterprise wasn't the vehicle—it was what happened when we needed help. On the second day of our rental, our Jeep Wrangler developed an engine problem. We immediately went to the Enterprise branch in Bethesda the next morning, where the staff confirmed that the vehicle should not continue to be used. However, they had no replacement vehicle available and instructed us to contact Roadside Assistance. That was when the real nightmare began. Over the next 3 hours, we made 7 phone calls to Roadside Assistance. Every time we were told our case had been "escalated" and that someone would call us back within minutes. No one ever did. We also sent an urgent email to Enterprise using the contact information provided by their staff. That email was completely ignored. Eventually, because we had travel plans we couldn't miss and Enterprise provided no assistance whatsoever, we had no choice but to carefully drive the malfunctioning vehicle all the way back to Dulles Airport ourselves. To make matters worse, the staff at the Dulles location later told us that the Roadside Assistance service is not actually operated by Enterprise, which certainly explained why no one seemed able to help or take responsibility. The most alarming part is this: what if we had actually been stranded on the side of the highway instead of being able to drive the vehicle? After this experience, I have very little confidence that anyone would have come to help us. A roadside assistance service that never calls back, repeatedly makes empty promises, and leaves customers to solve the problem themselves is not roadside assistance. We expected far better from a company like Enterprise.

  I just wanted to state that we had the best customer service at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car at Dulles Airport. From when we arrived to where we were immediately went up to the counter with no wait time (but even if there had been more people there were 3 staff ready to go to help). But we were greeted warmly by I believe the manager (Syed?) along with the staff member who checked us in (Destiney) and there was no pressure to upsell us on any additional services that we didn't need. And what was even better was that Destiney even walked us to the parking spots and l told us we could pick which ever of the medium SUVs that we had signed up for. Ended up picking out a bright blue Jeep Compass as we knew that would stand out when looking for our car while travelling for the next week. She was super helpful and very nice. When we returned the car the gentleman who assisted us (I am so sorry but I forgot your name...need to remember to take a pic of the name tag next time) went above and beyond helping us unload our luggage and taking care of our paperwork and pointing us to the shuttle to the terminal and just being very friendly. Please provide kudos to this gentleman who helped us on 8/1 around 10:30am at Dulles when we returned our car. We will definitely be getting our next rental car from Enterprise the next time we fly into Dulles. Thank you!
