  Arrived back home to my new windshield installed looking better than before I brought the vehicle. Very clean and professional and probably not going to replace the tint strip back across the top and just keep it as it is. Very satisfied

  My experience was less than stellar. First the positives: The staff was helpful and friendly at both locations I had to travel to. Eventually after two weeks my windshield was properly replaced and recalibrated. The negatives: I understood that it would take close to 3 hours. After 3 hours the tech told me he was unable to recalibrate the windshield and they would work with the insurance company about getting an OEM replacement. The Jamestown location is a 60 mile round trip. I showed up to an appointment they scheduled the next week to get it replaced only to be told that they didn't get the glass in yet. Call the customer the night before so they don't waste a trip. Eventually I was scheduled with the Danville store. The service tech there said his building was better suited for calibrating. Sure enough he got the windshield recalibrated in under 20 minutes without having to replace the replacement windshield. That was a two hour round trip. Safelite has one job, windshields. All your shops needs to be able to recalibrate windshields without having to jockey the customer to another location.
