My wife comes into this store where she's had tail lights replaced in the past in need of one for her car and despite no business and three employees lounging around the store they refused to help her. The next day shes pulled over by the police for her taillight. I guess people like David Firestone don't exist in Botetourt anymore.

We unexpectedly found ourselves stranded there for over an hour due to car trouble, and they hospitably welcomed us in from the cold while we dealt with the issue. Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
