Lost key to my lug nuts and need a resolution quickly. After running into dead ends other than ordering one from a dealer, I was told to give Mr Tire a call. Was greated not only good news they could take the keyed ones off but that if I got 4 new ones (I elected to get unkeyed one) and come on over they would do it right then! When I got there it took less than 30 minutes and I was out of there. Yes, it cost $33 but ordering a key would have been upwards of $100 and wait time, which I didn't have. On a good note I didn't have a flat and if so it would have been a bad situation because I couldn't have gotten any tire off.
So, kiddos to the guys at Mr Tire. They made my day with quick service and very willing to help me when in a bind. After this first experience I'm sure it won't be my last!

I visited Mr. Tire for a simple engine oil change, but after the service my car would not start properly. When I informed the staff, they immediately told me the issue was with the starter. The main technician said I needed to replace the starter, so I agreed and ordered the part. It took them one full week to replace it.
After replacing the starter, they finally discovered that the real problem was the battery — something they should have checked from the very beginning before recommending an expensive repair. This shows a serious lack of proper diagnosis and professional technical knowledge.
I wasted both time and money because of their mistake. The technicians were unable to correctly identify the issue, and the customer service was very disappointing. In my experience, this was one of the worst auto service experiences in town.
I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable vehicle service.

They were genuinely so helpful! I went in to get my TPMS reprogrammed, and when they found out I needed a new one entirely instead of immediately charging me full price they told me I could save a lot of money by purchasing one elsewhere and bringing it back for them to install. Being a college student, that really meant a lot!

I wish I remembered the man’s name who helped me, but I cannot thank him enough for helping me out last minute when I was extremely desperate. I was traveling from Maryland back home to South Carolina and unfortunately got a flat tire while I was driving on 81 and was forced to take the Christiansburg exit. All of this happened at around 4:30/5pm so many mechanics in the area were getting ready to close for the night or didn’t have my tire size in stock. When I called Mr. Tire (who closed at 7pm) I spoke with their manager who said he was more than happy to help me out if I was able to get there by 6:15pm. Unfortunately, my tow truck took longer than expected so I called the shop again and the manager assured me he’d still help me out, even if he had to stay later. When I arrived at the shop I found out the manager had been at the shop, working alone, since 5pm and still agreed to help me out. Based on the damage to my tire, it appeared that I would need a complete replacement, but it turns out that, by some miracle, the tire was in good enough condition to be patched! A complete replacement would’ve cost $250, but I was only charged $25 for the patch. Thanks to him I was able to safely arrive back home in South Carolina. If it wasn’t for the manager that was working, I would’ve needed to get a hotel in town and wait until the morning to get my tire fixed. Thanks again for your kindness and help!!!

On November 5th 2025 I took my car for a brake inspection. Christiansburgh Va. He did a thorough inspection and showed me my brakes looked great, then put everything back together. I tipped them $60. March 14th the rear driver wheel came off, at high speed, I crashed. The stub axle , breaks, bearings and more, were destroyed. I also could have died or hurt other drivers. The king nut had come off. The cotter pin and nut I found when I took the hub cap off. It was an old cotter pin and inferior diameter (chinsy thin old pin). So far I have incurred $2,158 in repairs and towing costs. The same thin, weak, old cotter pin was used on my passenger side also. The shop that repaired all of it, also replaced (and saved) (photos of) that cotter pin. A used, inferior diameter, cotter pin. Pennies. I asked Mr Tire to help with repair costs and they just never called me back “I never re-use cotter pins” but you did. The mechanic that did the repairs and myself, documented that you did. I asked politely for help with repair costs and nothing in weeks. I brought all my kids cars there! I trusted them. It almost got me killed. My car I may never trust again… we keep finding new problems related to the crash. It was a classic old 69 VW and it was my only car. You re used cotter pins against your own store policy. I enclosed a picture of the passenger side old pin… the driver side of course broke.
