  Great about getting a quick replacement, I was on a 10 day timer to pass inspection and get all the new tags and BS settled, and I was able to get an appointment for like 3 days later. I like that I was able to save a little bit with the premium option as well. I can’t remember my techs name but he was a younger black guy and he was very nice and straightforward as well as professional. The entire process start to finish on the consumers end is very easy to do online very user friendly process, highly recommend

  I’m leaving a one star review as a warning to future customers who use Safelite- Read the email and what you are agreeing to. They will not go over in person the unnecessary add-ons they will charge you. I requested over the phone for a windshield repair only. I was in a rush and wanted it fixed before it got worse. I didn’t realize they changed out my new wiper blades for even newer wiper blades and added a $40 “rain repellent” to my bill. I’m the fool for not reading the fine print. You got me for an additional $115 but lost a repeat customer.

  Full disclosure, the windshield repair was fine. However, the Tech parked my car on the curb. My vehicle has many sensors in the bumper frame and a forward facing radar feature. I contacted the supervisor (Elaina Hagar) and asked her to take a look. She informed me that that's why they have " Scratch Guards" on cars. Her lead Tech was with her. I think they were serious. I wanted her present when I backed off the curb. I then ran my hand along the body. Deep gouges and scratches. I offered for her and/or Lead Tech to do the same. They opted not to. They left without offering so much as an apology. I was surprised with their apathy. Makes me wonder about the integrity of their work.

  Horrible experience with my windshield replacement. The first scheduled appointment the repairman did not call or show up. The second scheduled appointment they brought the wrong windshield. The third appointment I took the car in for repair and a day later the top chrome frame over my windshield came loose while I was driving down the highway. The fourth appointment to repair the frame and I get home and there is a large gap between the top frame and the windshield with a plastic piece sticking out of the windshield between the frame. Will have to go back again to have this repaired and take off work again. No apologies no offer of a refund or compensation for all of the time and efforts spent on a windshield repair…..which is their line of business.

  My experience with Safelite has been extremely frustrating and concerning from beginning to end. On my first appointment, two windshields were broken while attempting to service my vehicle. No one contacted me to let me know what happened or that another windshield had to be ordered. My vehicle remained there until approximately 5:00 p.m., when I learned I would need to pick it up and return another day. When I returned, another windshield was installed, only for it to later be determined that my Genesis required Genesis-specific glass. I was offered free windshield wipers for the inconvenience, but this resulted in yet another appointment to have the correct glass installed. More concerning, before returning for the Genesis glass, I looked under my hood and discovered multiple components had been left detached or unsecured. The engine cover was not properly secured, clips were missing, and bolts/components were loose. When I returned, I was told a trainee had worked on my vehicle. At that point, I specifically requested that no trainee work on my car again and that one experienced technician handle the vehicle and properly put everything back together. I also experienced issues with some of my vehicle’s sensors, despite being told the vehicle passed Safelite’s testing. Most disturbing, I discovered what appears to be intentional damage to the volume control/button on my steering wheel, which appears to have been cut. After multiple appointments, incorrect glass, broken windshields, poor communication, improperly reassembled components, sensor concerns, and now physical damage inside my vehicle, I am extremely disappointed. I trusted Safelite with a luxury vehicle and expected it to be returned to me in the same condition in which I brought it. I would like these concerns, particularly the damage to my vehicle, formally reviewed and addressed.
