  And I would give extra stars if it was allowed -⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had Dakota and the team at -Keystone /Pride Protective Coating rustproof my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. I was referred to Dakota by Tim at Open Air Jeeps after they installed my lift, and it turned out to be an excellent recommendation.” ( Tim- Jeep gear-head… the only place to go if you are a jeep owner) I had done quite a bit of research because I plan to keep this Jeep for many years and wanted more than someone simply spraying a generic black coating underneath it. Dakota explained that they use ValuGard products, including VG-160 on the exposed underbody and frame, along with a ValuGard fogging/cavity wax treatment inside the closed frame channels, crossmembers and other areas conventional undercoating can’t reach. For a Wrangler with a boxed frame, that two-part approach was exactly what I was looking for. The workmanship is excellent. They properly prepped and masked the Jeep, protected the components that shouldn’t be coated, applied the treatment and kept it overnight to cure before unmasking and cleaning everything up. Looking underneath afterward, the coverage is extremely clean and professional—not the sloppy “spray everything black” job I specifically wanted to avoid. Dakota was also great to work with from beginning to end. Communication was easy, there was no unnecessary upselling, and they even picked the Jeep up from my home in Virginia Beach and delivered it back when it was finished. The final price was $600, exactly in line with what Dakota had told me to expect. If you’re a Jeep owner planning to keep your vehicle long-term—especially in a coastal environment—I highly recommend talking with Dakota about their ValuGard corrosion-protection system. Great product, excellent workmanship and outstanding customer service. I would absolutely use them again.

  I am very happy with this shop. They were engaging, informative, & attentive. Price was 25% less than other places I checked. These guys were very easy to work with and delivered the bed cover installation as discussed on my schedule and exactly like they said they would. Highly recommend!

  These guys may be good at spray in bed liners but I highly suggest if you use someone else to undercoat your truck such as Coastal Coatings. I had a truck undercoated recently by Keystone/line x and if I could go back I would’ve never had it done. Overspray all over the sides of the engine block, engines exhaust, lower part brake calipers, parts of the driveshafts over $400 transmission pan looks like a 12th grader took a black colored spray can to the underside, some of the coating is missing on the sides of the frame rails. Very very expensive truck and to have this poor quality of work performed is just sad. Not to mention they had the trucks frame media blasted and I cannot get that stuff out the underside or engine compartment all up in the electrical components. Just very very unhappy, I’ve had trucks undercoated before but nothing as horrible as this ruined a $65,000.00 truck.

  Do not use LineX, now Keystone, at least not this store in Chesapeake. They treated me poorly and not only dented my truck, but also couldn’t figure out how to put the clips back on the truck for the fenders. New truck - 100000% use Hampton Roads Protective Coating. The difference in the undercoating is phenomenal. It looks professionally done, professional service and treat you well! I will only trust HRPC with my vehicles moving forward!!
