  Since Carwise reviews picked out specific details to make the review better than it was. I’m going to repost it here. This may not be exact wording, but the gist of it is correct. I took my vehicle to Gerber Collision on Lee Highway. Had two scratches on the door. Three weeks in I called to check on the vehicle, as I was running out of rental time. The guy who estimated my vehicle told me they would get me a rental car if they needed to, but never offered to Complete getting me a rental and I told him mine would be up Friday of that week. I ended up calling back Friday, but everybody was gone so I told the lady I would call back Monday. I called back Monday and I was told she would have the manager call me back in about 15 minutes, three hours later no one had called me. I called her back and she said she would have the manager call me. The manager called and left a message. She stated she had me a rental car ready and that she would make sure that my vehicle was ready that Friday. She indicated that the shop was down a painter and a paint booth and that’s the reason it was taking so long to get my vehicle ready. I completely understand the situation. I went to pick up the rental car at Enterprise in Abingdon. I told him I was there to pick up a rental from Gerber Collision. He told me that he told Gerber collision that he would not have a vehicle ready until Friday due to race week. Friday was the day that my vehicle was supposed to be finished. I called Gerber Collision and told her what enterprise said, her response was laughter in the phone. I got aggravated told her to keep the damn rental and call me when my vehicle was done and I hung up. There is no way Gerber didn’t know this information when they sent me up there to pick up that vehicle. The voicemail Gerber Collision left me said, if they give you any problems, call me. That indicated to me they knew what was going to happen. So basically, I was sent on a wild goose chase. Gerber collision called me on Thursday afternoon and told me my vehicle was ready. I went and looked at the repair paid the the deductible I owed. I came back later to pick up the truck because I needed a ride. When I got home, I realized I left two fishing Reels under the driver seat of the truck from our recent vacation. I went to collect those and only found one. I cleaned out my vehicle as best I could, but I was in a hurry because I just got back from vacation and left the two reels under the seat by accident. I do realize that they have signs up that say they’re not responsible for lost or stolen items left in the vehicle. I translate that into if our employees steal or lose your items tuff luck. I drove back to Gerber collision and talked to the man who gave me an estimate and explained what happened. I did not accuse anyone of taking it, but I asked him to check in the back in case someone had left it out when they cleaned the vehicle. I told him to call me if he found anything and of course, I haven’t heard anything back and I never will. Honesty that’s the problem with this world today. No, I would not recommend this shop even though the repair was good. If you can’t trust people, then they don’t deserve your business.

  Great place for car repair. Staff is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very diligent with followup in replying to customer requests. My car looked great when I picked it up. If you need your car repaired, Gerber is your place, you won’t be disappointed.

  repairs look great! good experience overall. great to work with, very friendly. convenient place. easy to get in touch with with questions. very thorough, car came back spotless as well! not a Progressive "partner" or whatever, but that process was flawless nonetheless. satisfied customer! further details that don't detract from our overall 5. said it would like be ready Friday, then wasn't ready til Tuesday - but Friday wasn't the initial estimate anyways - so not a huge deal. was surprised to have to figure out that they unexpectedly changed our windshield, but was a good thing for us - so that's great! one interior door handle piece fell out on us - looks like a nub is snapped, tho I've not addressed it w/ them.
