I’d give your establishment a one star but I don’t want it deleted. Had my mother drop my car off at the shop for an estimate. As I knew I needed rotators and brakes. My mother asked for an estimate and was told the car would need to be driven for an estimate to be given. Never received a call for an estimate. I received a call from my mother the next day stating your shop went ahead and changed two rotators all the brakes, two lug nuts and my inspection sticker and that the bill was close to $1000. Mind you this wasn’t her car, no agreement was made for the work needing to be done, no agreement was made on cost. After she had words with the person she spoke to about the fact she never received an estimate of what it would cost to fix the car the bill was dropped to $800. Still closer to $900. As the owner of the car I’d still love to know how you can legally work on a vehicle with no agreement and then charge nearly $1000 for said work that wasn’t agreed upon. Especially when you’ve not relayed any information on what needed to be done or the fact you were already doing it without a customer’s approval. My advice, do not trust this shop to call you with an estimate for work on your vehicle. They will illegally go ahead and do work and charge you out the wahzoo for it.

If you're in need of great diesel mechanics, save yourself some time and give Diesel Assault a call first. I had a NOX sensor fail on my through the Johnson City area. Its just a matter of time before the computer puts the truck in "limp mode" and eventually it wont turn over. I had called every dealership service department within 2 hours. They either couldn't get to the repair for a couple weeks or they didn't work on diesel engines. They sell them, but don't service them? Odd. One of the dealerships recommended Diesel Assault, so I gave'em a call. They too were booked up and it would be a few days before they could get to it. After I explained that I was from Florida and just passing through they shifted work around and had me bring the truck in right then. I was fortunate that my truck hadn't yet entered "limp mode" and headed to Bristol. I was even more fortunate that these gentlemen had the desire to help me. They had to order the part which didn't come in until noon, so the dog and I hoofed it around town for a few hours. I got back to Diesel Assault just before the new sensor and they had me back on the road by 5pm. Thanks y'all! You did me a huge favor.
