Took truck in with a bad gas pedal, AC working marvelously on the way to the dealership. Pedal repair 1100 later. Truck picked up next day, AC doesn't work, air bag compressor unhooked (no where near the gas pedal), stereo equipment unhooked and wires all bent/crimped. He fixed the airbag compressor and the stereo equipment because he knew how and didn't want to nitpick, but went back an hour later about the AC. SERVICE ADVISOR wants to charge to diagnose $350, excuse me, for something you broke that worked when it was dropped off. No. Spoke to Service Manager Megan, she agreed to diagnose for no charge and IF THEY did anything for it not to work, she would fix it, if it was NOT their fault, we would pay for repair. Ok, we all know how this is gonna go, but tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. Very unprofessional, sloppy work by service technician and worse customer care by the front end, ESPECIALLY for a dealership. Where you normally expect to receive top notch quality service and care. Right?
Sooooo, we make an appointment at 1230p the next day, to wait for vehicle to be diagnosed. Even made this crystal clear with service manager when we arrived and specifically asked if the truck was being taken back right now at the appointment time, and she confirmed, yes. Getting milage and tags and it's going straight back.
2 hrs later, truck still hasn't gone back, and would not have been going back, the technician "forgot", per Megan. Nobody in management had bothered follow-up with the technician for 2 hrs until we asked about an update. So then they pull the truck back and what do you know.... Not their fault, the ac compressor, or clogged ac line or some other valve is bad ... You are telling me, this just happened magically sitting in their lot and shop getting gas pedal replaced? Sounds suspicious, I asked to speak to the service director, Moe and he has the absolute worst attitude, before I could even take a seat. After my boyfriend leaves, the director is screaming at me for entering his office without knocking, mind you the service advisor WALKED ME TO his office door. I didn't guess where his office was and just parade myself there from the service floor where the truck was being worked on (which is where the service advisor has taken us to first)
This guy proceeds to talk down to me and.HAS ZERO CLUE about what has gone on up to the point, zero clue what Megan had promised had no clue the truck had even been diagnosed. When asked several times to please lower his voice and speak respectfully to me he refused. I tried to correct him on where we were actually at in the diagnostic process, he course me off, saying he didn't care what Megan said he was now going to go back and charge for the diagnosis. Over talking and yelling at a female in his office who is asking him to calm down and not be disrespectful, because I had not yet been disrespectful to him ... Almost needless to say, but things went down hill from there.
I couldn't believe this guy, trying to stand up, yell, and intimidate a female, following me out of the building making snide nasty remarks.... Yes, I ended up laying into him real good, I couldn't take but so much of his trying to intimidate me when my boyfriend walked out the room, being condescending, deflective, and actually speaking in a VERY unprofessional way and loud tone.
