  My wife and I were on the way to Washington DC for the Freedom 250 Fair, airshow and fireworks when we ran hot in our car. We ended up limping it into Ashland, Va. We are from Southeastern North Carolina. It was right before the 4th of July holiday and the weekend and of course we were not scheduled to have any service done but the office managers, I think Danielle and Alex, and the workers in the shop, were able to find time to diagnose our issues and work with us in the moment of need. We had to figure out if it could be fixed or if we must get a rental so we can continue on to our trip. Ferber's Auto and these great people, found time to work on our vehicle help us make decisions so we can continue on our trip and work with us during and after I trip to figure out what we were going to do with our car after we found out it blew a head gasket. So we lost the car it was a bad situation but they sure helped us in that horrible time of need. I would like to say thank you to them, and their staff in the shop, for working with us during a very hot and holiday time. Everybody deserves time off, but they still found time to help us. Thanks and I would recommend them for any service with your car. Not all problems can be fixed but good people and great service can sure lessen the struggle on the customer. David P.

  My state inspection went super fast. It took less than an hour. 45 minutes and it was done. They even offered recommendations but didn't hassle those recommendations.

  Can’t say enough good things about them. Very knowledgeable, extremely helpful, always accommodating. We take both our vehicles to the Ashland location and they always take great care of us.

  We were having issues with our car in the middle of a road trip, and the employees at Ferber’s were incredibly helpful and kind. They took the time to assist us and made a stressful situation much easier to handle. Their professionalism, patience, and willingness to help turned what could have been a terrible experience into a positive one. We’re very grateful for their excellent customer service and would highly recommend them!

  While traveling from NJ to FL, my engine coolant system temperature gauge pegged high. I pulled to the side of the highway and inspected the coolant system for leaks and fan operation. Everything appeared normal. I continued to the nearest service station which happened to be Ferbers in Ashland. They were busy but found time to help me. They analyzed my car and determined that the coolant temperature sensor was bad and verified the engine temperature was within its normal operating range. They provided this service to me at no charge. I am forever grateful. I was able to continue my journey and have repairs completed at a later date.
