It's only been a few days, but so far the glass repair on my Tesla looks great. Everyone I dealt with at Safelite was professional and courteous, and the work was done quickly.
The one downside: I dropped the car off with 40% charge and was told they couldn't take it unless it had at least 50%, because the car has to stay on while they work on it and they were worried the battery could die since I was leaving it overnight. So I had to go to a parking garage, pay for parking, and charge it up. I brought it back at 98% (I even ran a software update), and when I picked it up the next morning it was at 95%. The whole job used about 3%.
I told him I had a lot going on that day and next and asked if there was any chance they could take it anyway. He said no and insisted on the 50%. I understand being cautious, but that minimum feels like a lot when the work barely touched the battery, and sometimes it's worth looking at things case by case. Instead of a quick drop-off, it became a real hassle. Small thing, but worth mentioning.

An incredibly, Polished Technician who did did a great job, as Mr. Josh !
Quick, easy, insurance took care of the details. In and out in 45 mins. Walkable location. Highly recommend.
Great friendly service. Very professional and timely. If you are on a tight schedule, just make.sure the time you schedule is an appointment time and not a “window “ where service will be done within 5-6 hours.

Would give 5 stars except for a little too much back-and-forth, cancelling of appointments and rescheduling etc between these guys and my insurance about how much the out of pocket would have been for OEM Tesla rear window glass. In the end Roland here at Safelite was very helpful, even when the central Safelite computer seemed to have the incorrect part # for the OEM rear window on my 2019 Tesla M3. Also the Safelite install was absolutely perfect- looked exactly like the factory install, perfectly aligned & spaced, no smells of adhesive in the car, no fingerprints and not even any of that blue tape left, and no error messages on any of the sensitive Tesla electronics. I could not tell the difference from the original factory rear window glass. Price difference for OEM above aftermarket was also very reasonable, only ~$300 above my deductible compared to the ~$700 above deductible Tesla said they'd charge.
