We are new to the area and needed our car inspected and emissions tested for registration. We saw the good reviews on Yates Auto and figured we would give them a try. I was very impressed with how we were welcomed, the professionalism of the people, the communication during the process and the follow up afterwards. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again in the future.

Came by the other day in the morning for a safety inspection. Had an amazing, beyond amazing even experience. From the moment I walked in to the moment I got in my car and drove off. I got checked in and left my vehicle with Chris in the morning he was really respectful and professional mentioned it was his second day on there but nonetheless still provided me with amazing customer service when I picked it up it was almost like they were waiting for me they got me my vehicle and got me back on the road very quickly

Kris and the rest of the staff are terrific! I brought my car in for an emissions test and they found some liquid in the body of the car that they removed free of charge. Emissions test was efficient and well-priced. Highly recommend this great business that always supports our community.

I was very impressed with their professionalism and timely service and knew I was in great hands with their mechanics who correctly diagnosed my issue with my two rear wheel bearings of my Subaru needing replacing and my front and rear differentials needing servicing. I had two other mechanics from another place misdiagnose my problem so I was grateful to finally get at the root cause and address these potential safety issues. Now my car runs much quieter and smoother. I will absolutely return to their Kingstowne location for oil changes and their Braddock Road location for major maintenance.

I just moved in from Illinois a few weeks ago to the Alexandria area. I was looking around online on where to go for the vehicle safety inspection and emissions testing and found this place. I was hesitant to trust what people were saying online to do first when first moved to the area, so I called Yates Automotive and told them my situation and Will was able to get me in the same day as long as I got there soon as I hung up the phone. Both the emission and inspection testing were done within a half an hour about. I am beyond appreciative and this relieved my stress and got the testing done and over with so now I can go to the DMV to get the rest of the stuff done. Thank you!
