  It was easy to schedule our repair online, and I was able to get an appointment within a couple of days. Eric, the technician, was able to inspect and repair the chip in our windshield in under an hour. The whole process was easy, effective, and fairly priced.

  Safe Lite Alexandria only gets 2 stars because the technicians are amazing. Otherwise, they would get 1 because you can’t give 0. The first tech was great but couldn’t work because they sent him with the wrong part (yes they had my VIN, yr, model, etc). The second was Noah. He kept me informed of his possible arrival, any delays, examined the veh and explained any foreseen issues that might arise during the glass removal. They both were professional, knowledgeable and good natured. The management is awful. The scheduling, communication and customer service were all terrible (from the store…text and 800 were great). First scheduled day they called woke me up 5h before my appointment to ask if they could cancel/reschedule only to still waste my day off leave (equivalent to approx $500) by sending the driver with the wrong part. I called customer service twice, who deferred to the store manager, who they couldn’t reach in live time on either occurrence. To this very moment no one from Safe Lite has reached out with as much as an apology, let alone a discount or anything else. Second visit went well because it went “normally” with no hiccups. However I called to speak to a manger the day before ref the previous experience and for assurance. Haven’t heard from anyone ref my complaint of the first service day.

  I have no complaint about the window that was replaced. Customer service was pleasant. The problem that I had was that when opening my car door, all of the debris from the work was in my front two seats and all over the dash, along with hand prints being on my light leather. I couldn't sit down without brushing everything off my seat. I've never had any work done, whether in my car or home, where the contractors did not clean up after themselves. I would use Safelite Autoglass again, but not this location.

  I had a small chip in my windshield and didn't know what the best choice was. I randomly decided Safelite and I had a great experience with this Safelite. The tech came to the location I specified, was well within the time window agreed upon, and repaired the chip so surprisingly well that I can't see it anymore unless I look for it. I get bombarded with Safelite ads and I didn't really expect anything outstanding, and I was very glad to be proven wrong.
