  Please don’t work with this shop. It’s a waste of time and money. These people are terrible to work with. They gave us a 5 hour window, missed our appointment and didn’t call the right number. We’ve called their shop repeatedly (no answer) and have been on the phone with four customer service representatives who cannot reach the shop and have been no help. All they suggest is just making a new appointment and hoping a technician shows up them. I recommend working with Auto Glass Express in Alexandria instead. They text you and give you an hour instead of making you wait for 5. Do not work with Safelite Autoglass under any circumstances.

  Kay was very efficient and professional. He arrived on time and finished the installation in less than an hour. He was very careful about removing my car inspection and parking permit stickers from my old windshield. I appretiated that very much. It saved me the trouble of having to need new ones. He also provided me with detailed aftercare instructions.

  Satellite came to our house and replaced our windshield. I was updated by text every step of the way. The technician, Caleb, was on time, knowledgeable and thorough with directions and answering any of our questions. I hope I don’t have a cracked windshield again, but if I do, I will definitely use safelite again!

  I strongly advise taking your business elsewhere. On the day of my appointment, a technician called promising an update but never followed up. I tried calling the shop for 3 hours straight with no answer. I finally took an Uber to the shop, only to find it completely closed. They had locked my keys inside. Thankfully, I had remote vehicle access, or I would have been completely stranded. The manager didn't contact me until days later to explain a part was needed. Because this location completely ignores their phone lines (even corporate customer support couldn't reach them after I escalated twice), they held my physical key for a month. I finally had to show up unannounced just to get my key back, only to be told the part they ordered was wrong. A previous mistake at the Hampton location started this issue, but Alexandria's total lack of accountability made it a disaster. Avoid this location at all costs. Huge shoutout to the Burke location, who finally stepped in and properly took care of me.

  Absolutely awful experience from start to finish. I understand weather delays happen, so when my first appointment was rescheduled due to rain, I had no issue with it. Then I was rescheduled again because they didn’t have the type of glass I needed in stock — frustrating, but still understandable. The real problem was the complete lack of communication and poor scheduling. I was given a mobile appointment window from 8:00 AM–1:00 PM and they simply never showed up. No phone call, no text, no update, nothing. I wasted an entire day waiting around. Thinking the mobile service was the issue, I scheduled an in-shop appointment instead. After my car sat there for nearly two hours, someone finally came out and told me the glass was damaged and couldn’t be replaced that day. How was that not checked beforehand? After more than a month of delays, reschedules, and wasted time, I finally got my window replaced — and the only bright spot in this entire experience was Caleb, who was awesome and actually did a great job. Unfortunately, one good employee doesn’t make up for an overall terrible experience. The scheduling team, administration, communication, and follow-up were all awful. I will never use this company again.
