We reserved a standard SUV for 08/07/26 @ 8:00 AM We arrived around 9:00 AM, only one hour after our reservation time, and were told Enterprise had NO vehicles available. We were also told they had been out of vehicles since Thursday the day before our reservation, so our arrival time clearly was not the reason there was no vehicle waiting for us. They already knew they had an inventory issue. The manager told us he would work on getting us a vehicle and personally call around 10:30 AM. 10:30 came and went. No call. At 11:30, WE had to call THEM. We were told he was “still working on it.” Hours passed while we were repeatedly told surrounding Enterprise locations also had nothing available. Finally, around 3:30 PM, we were told they had a vehicle for us. We drove back, only to discover it was a small compact SUV not the standard SUV we reserved. With children, luggage, and a stroller, there was absolutely no way everything would fit. We were told the compact SUV was “the same price,” as if that made it equivalent to the larger vehicle we specifically reserved and needed. By this point, it was around 4:00 PM. The manager again promised he would get us something before they closed at 6:00 PM. So we waited. Again. At approximately 5:50 PM, we went back because they were about to close and once again, NO ONE had called us. We were FINALLY given an appropriate vehicle. And then we learned something that made the entire situation even more infuriating: we were told that some vehicles on the lot were being held for customers with reservations for SATURDAY the following day. So let me understand this: We had a confirmed reservation for THAT DAY, were waiting for hours (the whole work day), and vehicles were apparently sitting on the lot being held for customers who weren't picking them up until the NEXT DAY. How does that make any sense? We were told this issue was connected to the Friends & Family discount on our reservation. The explanation was essentially that Enterprise could make more money renting those vehicles to someone else rather than honoring our discounted reservation. If that is truly what happened, this wasn't simply an inventory problem. Vehicles were apparently available; our reservation just wasn't being prioritized. That's not customer service. That's corporate greed. We also called Enterprise customer service to escalate the situation and were specifically told a REGIONAL MANAGER would contact us THAT DAY. Guess what? NO ONE CALLED. When we eventually returned the vehicle, we were even told that next time we use the Friends & Family discount, we should call the location THE NIGHT BEFORE to make sure they have a vehicle available. WHY?! What is the purpose of making a reservation if the customer has to call beforehand to make sure Enterprise actually intends to honor it? If Enterprise accepts and confirms a reservation, managing inventory should be THEIR responsibility not the customer's. Because of this entire ordeal, we MISSED A WHOLE DAY OF OUR FAMILY REUNION. That's an entire day of our family trip gone. Time with our family that we can never get back. The most frustrating part is knowing that vehicles were apparently sitting on the lot while we waited all day, including vehicles being held for customers who weren't even arriving until the next day. If you don't have vehicles, communicate that BEFORE the customer arrives. If you accept a reservation, HONOR IT. If customer service promises a callback, FOLLOW THROUGH. And if you offer a Friends & Family discount, don't accept the reservation and then seemingly prioritize customers who will generate more revenue. Unfortunately, our experience made it feel like how much money Enterprise could make from our reservation mattered more than honoring it. IF a Friends & Family reservation is going to be treated as less important than a reservation that will make Enterprise more money, then why offer the discount at all.

Understaffed. Today my reservation was ready, except “ready” meant going on a 15 minute adventure ride to get my reserved car from a different enterprise location. What should have been a 10-30 minute car pickup turned into an hour+ ordeal. I had to wait for the employee to service the rest of the line before he would leave to go get my car (he was the only one there). The whole thing felt like my time was being wasted so that enterprise can save on employee costs. I’m never renting from enterprise again.

Convenient neighborhood rental agency with clean cars and efficient service. It would be nice if the hours were a bit wider due to airline flight arrival and departure times. One improvement (this goes for all car rental agencies), it ight be convenient for customers if there were shorts/videos/'links thereto' to show how the car features necessities/radios/cruise are operated.

I do not recommend this Enterprise Rental Car location. Without authorization the clerk tacked on a non-disclosed $25 a day “DW” or “Dent Waiver” charge adding a hefty $75 to the bill, apparently to cover the nicks and scratches of normal use. I declined all the auto insurance coverage in the store but was deceived when I went out to inspect the car with the clerk and asked to sign the rental agreement on a small iPad. Clerk verbally said “Initial here to decline all insurance” but I did not notice the small print “DW” and the cost was not displayed on the screen. It is a textbook example of a deceptive business practice and a consumer rip-off of the worst kind. Response to Stacy: Thank you for your response. However, I already reached out to Enterprise Car Rental both in a phone call to customer service and through the chat service and filed a complaint. I never received the courtesy of a response from the store manager and the fraudulent charge was not removed.
