  Legacy “the manager in charge” acted racist. I’ve been to this Maverick over 50 times I’m there every other week at least. I was buying beer and was there with my boyfriend like I usually am. We are rarely not with each other. And she told the cashier (who was the only one smiling) to ID my boyfriend as well. I asked why is that we always come together and no one has ever asked for his ID. She interrupted me and said”you always come alone.” I responded no I don’t and I’ve never been helped by you so how would you know. She said “if your going to have an attitude I will cancel you transaction” I answer “that’s crazy”. She came up and said to the cashier “cancel it I’ll take this back for you” and took the beer and walked away. So disappointed with this interaction, it felt racist because of her approach.

  A smaller older Maverick but the employees are friendly and has a huge beer selection.

  We went in after being across the street washing my wife's truck she wanted a adult drink went in with our 14 year old son and the man wanted his ID I my wife told him he's our son and 14 he refused to sell us anything we are both us citizen with valid driver's license he mumbled we probably don't have ID before we showed it to him it's disgusting what people like him get away with in this world just because we are mexican American and look brown
