We accidentally left some headphones in the car when we returned it after hours around 3:00 am. The next morning we called the location and an automated system said the location wasn’t open even though according to their hours they were open. We waited a few hours and called back we got the same message. I called the customer service number and was told they let the location know and I should get a call from them. After a few hours and no call we had to drive back to the location to see if they even had our items.

My rental had food and soda all over the rear seats and a pair of female pants and underwear in the back seat area. Super gross.. then I was charged $91 for dropping it off 2 hours after my pick-up time.

Absolutely unacceptable experience with Enterprise. I rented a car in Salt Lake City for a drive to Los Angeles. Just a few hours into the trip, the vehicle started having serious mechanical issues. Every time I braked, the car would shake uncontrollably, warning sensors started appearing on the dashboard, and even the USB ports stopped working. Because this was clearly a safety issue, I called Enterprise customer service and was told to go to the nearest location in St. George for a vehicle swap. Customer service also sent the request ahead of time. When I arrived, one representative seemed ready to help after seeing the request. However, another employee named Abigail repeatedly interrupted, acted condescending, and insisted they would not honor the swap request. We were then made to wait about 40 minutes, only to be told that “landing customers had priority.” I don’t understand how customers arriving by plane take priority over someone currently driving a rental car with known braking and mechanical issues. This was a safety concern for me and my passengers. They refused to swap the car, refused to provide anything in writing stating they declined service, and said they would note the account—but later I found out they never documented anything. What was most disappointing was Abigail’s complete lack of concern for customer safety. She told us there was nothing she could do. When I asked for her name, she was hesitant and did not want to provide it. After several requests, she finally gave her name with attitude. I told her that if anything happened because of the mechanical issues, they would be responsible. She simply laughed and still did nothing to make sure the safety of me and my passengers was a priority. As a result, we had to drive away in a car with known problems. We carefully drove slowly another two hours to Las Vegas, where the Enterprise location there was much more understanding and immediately helped complete the car swap request. It felt like the St. George location only cared about renting cars, not customer safety or accountability when something goes wrong. Very disappointing and concerning experience.

This place saved our butts when I mistakenly booked with Priceless thinking it was Priceline. Priceless tried to rip us off and we were not having it. My husband always goes with enterprise when he travels with work. They took good care of us, and found us a car at a great price. Thank you!
