  These people are all about being happy and making a deal but once you sign your name and close the deal they forget about you. I called there 4 times trying to get a copy of my purchase contract. Once I finally got someone on the line he acted like it was gonna put him out to email me my purchase contract. “I gave it to you when you bought the trailer.” No s—t dude, but is it too much to ask to have you email it to me? I’ll find somewhere else for my next purchase.

  If I could give negative stars I would. This was a terrible experience. There was no clear pricing. They didn't even start the motorhome I was interested in. When I voiced that I was uncomfortable with the deal the finance lady talked over me and disregarded my feelings. They requested that I bring cash only and that made me uncomfortable. The bank thought it was weird. They kept trying to force me into terms I had clearly stated would not work for me. I finally had enough from Mindy, the very rude and disrespectful finance lady and said no to the deal, she tried to charge my credit card $1000. Luckily my card protected me. When I confronted her about the attempt she sent me pictures of a document that I initialed regarding potential sums and she had hand written, after the fact, that there was an non refundable fee. I had the documents that I had been given and sent them to her letting her know that I can prove her fraud. I called corporate and they started the complaint process. I spoke with the GM at the location who apologized and admitted he clearly needed to address some things on his end. I requested that no further attempts be made to my card. I was astonished that they tried to hit my credit card after a decline of purchase. It was a horrible experience. Very sketchy business practices.

  The GM of the store JT lied to me. The weight of the travel trailer was misrepresented on the website and by the sales rep. After signing the paperwork, I checked the door of the trailer to verify the weight, it was 400 lbs heavier than what the website stated and the sales person. JT tried to force me take it, knowing it was too heavy. Stated the eq hitch would reduce the tongue weight. I asked to rescind the contract. He said the bank already had my info and it would cost thousands to pay for the time to get out of contract. The finance lady Mindy ( who was honest) stated it was never sent. JT is awful. Tried to scam me and take my deposit for a camper that was 400lbs too heavy He was awful. Downright awful

  We did not know what to expect of our first experience with Camper World, but the process of finding a trailer we were interested in purchasing and looking for a nearby dealer that we could return to for questions was what we found. The sales team, specifically Kathy Simmons, was accommodating but not pushy. She was knowledgeable enough to answer our questions and was patient throughout our purchasing process as we continued to ask questions. The final inspection process was very helpful, and as we previously owned another trailer, we had more detailed questions about features and procedures. The staff member was more than knowledgeable and taught us patiently. We would recommend working with this dealership and staff.

  Unfortunately, our experience with Camping World’s service department was very disappointing. We brought our motorhome in to have a new air conditioner installed and were originally told it would be completed the same day. The first AC unit they installed did not work, so it had to be removed and replaced with another one. Because of this, we did not get our RV back until three days later, which put us behind on other scheduled appointments. When we finally got the RV back, the new AC was extremely noisy. I specifically questioned the technician about the excessive noise and was told that it was completely normal for that type of unit. Fortunately, we already had an independent RV technician scheduled to inspect the motorhome the following day. We asked him to look at the AC, and he found that it had not been installed correctly. He repaired and properly reinstalled it, which corrected the issue, but that was an additional expense we had to pay out of pocket. We were also very disappointed to discover damage to the leather inside our motorhome. Some of the cushions appear to have been damaged from someone sitting or kneeling on them with tools or something similar. The back of the captain’s chair was also damaged, apparently because the seat was not moved forward far enough before operating the slide. We now have the additional expense of having that leather professionally repaired as well. We understand that problems can happen during repairs, but between being told the excessive AC noise was normal when there was actually an installation problem, paying another technician to correct the work, paying to repair the damaged leather, and getting our RV back three days later than promised, this was unfortunately a very poor experience. I’m sharing this so other RV owners are aware and can carefully inspect both their RV and any completed work before leaving the service department.
