  This location is very convenient, and I used to go in once or even twice a day. Although it doesn’t have the biggest selection, the store is usually well-maintained, and the night staff is very kind and helpful. A couple of months ago, they hired a few new day-shift employees: an obese man with long French braids and another obese employee, a woman with choppy, short hair. Their appearance isn't an issue for me; it's how they treat not just me, but all the customers. The man is either somehow usually hiding in the back during the afternoon rush, which seems like either a deliberate avoidance tactic or poor planning and judgment, or, when he is at the counter, he likes to complain that he still has hours left in his shift, often to customers who have been up before dawn working backbreaking jobs, including myself. Welcome us in and be at the register so we can get in and get out without standing in line for 15 minutes. I have also seen him bag up items for either family or friends without scanning them and send them on their way. I hope the owner has an opportunity to read this because he is stealing from you. He has tried to flirt with my family members and me, which is not only disgusting and scary but also obviously unprofessional. The woman is not just unfriendly; she is rude. She let the door slam in my face as I walked in, and she walked out, and she bumped into me without a word of apology. She rang me up, and my phone number didn’t go through. I started entering it a second time, and she snapped, “Just don’t touch it!” I work too hard to be treated this way, and there are too many options for employees to have no customer service skills, especially since the night guys are so great. Speaking of which, I refuse to go during the day because of these two, and unfortunately, that has led me to rarely go at all because every encounter with either employee is worse than the last, which affects the night crew too. My family members and friends who live nearby are also avoiding the store and going to the Mini Mart or 711. To wrap it up: good store, mostly great staff. Please let me know when these two find adventures elsewhere, so I feel “welcome in”!

  Typical Maverick, aside from there's never food that is hot already. They have security and act extremely paranoid, yelling at you if you have a backpack. And the staff is relatively rude. I will not choose to go to this Maverick again if possible.

  Your pizza blows the hell out of a lot of other Pizza,..... that didn't sound right, I mean it was really good.... the 'pizza' was really good.

  Love some snack from Maverik. It really is my first stop before I take my family on any adventure.

  Rankin Rankin with CBI security save my life I had came back to Maverick and it was 100° out and I parked in the Sun by the gas pump to get my debit card came outside I'm disabled I had a brain injury and I had passed out in the sun for an hour and if he didn't wake me up and help me out give me some water probably would have died and I'm very grateful for him and thank you very much to hired him
