  Rented one way from Salt Lake City, Utah to Austin Texas. The car was great. Never had any problems except checking in. They said the taxes were different and I was gonna get some sort of refund still I haven’t seen it.

  Car was considered mid size when it was actually compact. No GPS, no Sirius xm, brakes were soft, and it was jerky when it shifted into extended stop mode. Checking out at SLC every rent a car desk had 3 people manning the stations, National had 1.

  Very professional staff when picking up the car. Dropping off the car on Sunday morning was a little strange that they refused to check me out on the car and just stated "they will email a receipt and let me know if there is any issues with the vehicle". There was no issue with the vehicle and I just filled the car up with fuel. It would have been nice that the vehicle return staff would have acknowledged this fact.

  Good experience but had to subtract a star due to the guy at the exit booth being very rude and condescending. The first employee I encountered cheerfully found my reservation and directed me to the cars to choose from. As I exited the employee at the booth said I didn’t have a reservation then when he found it asked where my husband was (whose name it was under) and was very rude. He took a long time, even calling the previous employee who had helped me and I assured him the previous employee had found my reservation WITH ME LISTED AS A DRIVER very quickly. A day later while still using the rental car,, some sort of invoice came through my email with a $300 over charge. What a hassle. No doubt from the employee at the booth. Salt lake airport 8/12/26 approx 2:45 pm.

  Very easy process to order online and select the car in person. In and out very quick. Verify ID and scanned it, then allowed me to pick the one I wanted. Several options to choose from in each category. The person doesn't even walk with you, just says anything in this section. Put your stuff in the vehicle, familiarize yourself with the vehicle, adjust to your comfort, then drive it to the gate. At the gate, show your license again to the attendant, then they scan it at booth and you are off. Not paperwork when done online. I selected a Outlander. It was a stripped down version, manual seats, actual key to start. But that's the one I wanted to drive. The entire process, once in the rental garage took less than 15 minutes. I will be a returning customer. Excellent Job Utah Staff.
