I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in St. George. After returning a minivan, I realized I had accidentally left my sunglasses inside. Enterprise contacted me and told me they had found them, which I initially appreciated. When I went back to pick them up, however, I was told that my “wife” had already come in, described the sunglasses, and picked them up for me. There’s just one problem: my wife never went there. So somehow, Enterprise took property they knew belonged to me and handed it to another person who claimed to be my wife—without apparently verifying who that person was or confirming with me that they were authorized to take my belongings. This goes far beyond losing a pair of sunglasses. I understand that I was the one who accidentally left them in the vehicle. I take responsibility for that. But once Enterprise called me and confirmed they had my property, I had every reasonable expectation that it would be kept secure until I picked it up or authorized someone else to do so. Instead, my sunglasses were given to a complete stranger. I would really like Enterprise management to explain what their lost-and-found policy is and how someone who is not my wife was able to walk into this location, claim my property, and leave with it. If this is how customer belongings are handled, people should think twice before trusting this location with anything they accidentally leave behind. Enterprise: you found my property, confirmed you had it, and then gave it to someone else. That is unacceptable.

This location is so great. There was an issue with my reservation but Joel went above and beyond to fix it and Kathryn was very helpful as well. Very helpful team with good customer service.
