  It was a very easy process! It was done much sooner than expected, and they went out of their way to help with my key fob that didn’t work! The glass looks great.

  I had Safelite AutoGlass replace the windshield on my Tesla Model 3. At the time of the replacement, I was never told that aftermarket glass would be installed, never given a choice between aftermarket and equivalent-quality/original glass, and never advised that the type of replacement glass could affect my Tesla warranty or glass coverage. I did not even know there was an issue until I later took my vehicle to Tesla to have it serviced and reinspected for warranty coverage. During that inspection, Tesla informed me that the windshield Safelite installed was aftermarket glass and that, as a result, the vehicle no longer qualified for the glass coverage. I contacted Safelite expecting them to help correct the situation. Instead, they were dismissive and told me that I should have requested the same quality of glass when the windshield was originally replaced. That response is incredibly frustrating because I was never informed that I needed to make such a request or that there was even a difference I needed to consider. Safelite then told me that correcting the problem would require me to either file another insurance claim or pay out of pocket for another windshield replacement. I find that completely unacceptable. I should not have to pay again—or make another insurance claim—to correct an issue that could have been avoided if Safelite had simply disclosed what they were installing and explained the potential consequences beforehand. I trusted Safelite as the professional to replace my windshield appropriately and to inform me of any important differences in the replacement glass. Instead, I only learned about the problem when Tesla inspected the vehicle afterward, and Safelite has placed the responsibility and cost of fixing it back on me. Tesla owners: before having your windshield replaced by Safelite, specifically ask what glass they intend to install and whether it could affect your Tesla warranty or glass coverage. Do not assume you will be informed beforehand.

  I would recommend a Safelite auto and the service man named Rhett for any of your auto glass needs and probably anything else that they have available.

  Horrible at giving quotes! The AI system they use sucks and when your eventually transferred to a human before you can get a price to replace a windshield they need your name and contact information. All I wanted was a price so I could decide if I wanted to proceed.

  One phone call scheduled everything she made insurance arrangements. Make sure we have the right glass to be replaced with technician Anthony came out. Performed an excellent job. This is a Mercedes-Benz. I was a little bit nervous, but he knew exactly what he was doing. I highly recommend him
