  I was too optimistic for what the price was. One of the better rates around for a larger drive up unit. I should have taken a look at the unit & overall appearance of the place before but it was late in the day and I didn’t want the office to close before I committing to the last larger unit available. They did tell me that one of their customers had items stolen from their boat a day or two before I signed up. But I figured since I had an enclosed unit I would be fine. Anyways, I signed the paperwork and drove the uhual to one of the furthest corners of Storage depot only to find some working on their truck blocking access to my my into from 1 of the 2 ways possible. I thought ok no problem, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and reverse the uhual the other way through a tightly jammed aisle. This is when I realized I wouldn’t be able to park any size car in my unit due to a trailer parked directly in my front of my unit. After returning to storage depot a few days later with a small truck I found that I once again had to reverse to my unit since the person was still working on their vehicle and blocking the way in from the other side. As I was backing into my unit the 2nd time I was met with an even tighter clearance in the aisle due to multiple tenants having their belongings outside their units and nowhere to be found. I wouldn’t have been able to get the uhual in if I were to come this day. Also multiple people on every aisle looking to be loitering, which made me feel uneasy about my belongings as the items were stolen from the boat during the middle of the day. On my 3rd and last I showed up with a uhual because I had already had enough and was ready to move to a better storage facility. Once again the this truck was blocking one of the routes and I had to reverse the uhual to my unit for the last time and tenants once again had their belongings outside their unit baking it just barely possible to get in and out with the uhual. I met with the staff and told them why I was leaving, and they were understanding. They were also friendly from the moment I arrived. Friendly staff is the only reason I gave it two stars. Friendly doesn’t not make up for not following through on what your business promises to deliver. A safe place to store your belongs which can be guarantee to be access during the gate hours. I did feel like this at all and I asked to be reimbursed because of this. About 2 weeks later and I haven’t received a refund of any sort, I paid almost $300 (there for 10 days) to be completely let down by a storage facility that isn’t proving the basic essentials that a storage facility should. TLDR: very messy, lots of tenants loitering, people stealing others belongings, hard to access your unit and doesn’t feel safe.
