  We stopped at the Maverik on Main Street in Moab after being out exploring for most of the day, and it was exactly the kind of stop we needed. Nothing fancy, just a busy, well-stocked place with everything you suddenly realize you need after spending hours outside. Cold drinks, snacks, food, ice, and plenty of fuel. The store was pretty busy, which isn't surprising in Moab, but things moved along quickly. I remember walking back outside and getting hit with that warm desert air again. There's something about going from an air-conditioned convenience store straight back into Moab's heat that wakes you up. I liked the variety inside, especially after a long day when nobody really wants to sit down for a full meal. We grabbed a few things and got back on the road. The parking lot had a steady stream of people coming and going, including plenty of other travelers who looked like they'd been out enjoying the parks. It felt very much like a Moab stop rather than just another gas station. The only minor downside was that getting in and out can be a little awkward when it's busy. Nothing serious, just one of those little things you notice when you're trying to maneuver around other vehicles. I didn't think much about it at the time, but a few days later this is the stop I remember making before heading out of town.

  Great place to stop on a road trip or if you're in Moab. Clean bathrooms, clean facilities, plenty of options. It is a smaller location than other Maveriks but similar quality.
