  This location needs to sort out their soda machine. Fountain drinks are a big draw for all Maverik locations, but for more than half this summer, the nugget jce has been “recharging” or otherwise “out of order” and at those times the drinks on that side of the machine are neither cold nor carbonated. So you cannot even get your drink with the less-desirable cubed ice; you’re stuck with no drink or trying another location. Some of the other local locations have seemed to have this issue, but this location is by far the worst. I can’t imagine it is impossible to solve this problem (even if equipment needs to be updated/replaced). I’ve been a loyal customer for years and am extremely frustrated that I’ve not been able to get a delicious drink at this location (most convenient for my home and work) for WEEKS. Enough is enough.

  I went in for a quick fountain drink. At the checkout there was an older lady struggling with her pin to work. After a couple failed attempts she was getting frustrated and was going to head out to the car to get some cash. Zach, who was the attendant there, took care of everything. He paid for her things and made an embarrassing situation pleasant. I appreciate Maverik for hiring wonderful people. And I appreciate Zach who did something simple, but so kind for someone else. I grabbed my drink, checked out at the self checkout, Zach said have a great day and probably didn’t know I noticed. Now we just need to get more Maverik’s in Phoenix!

  When I come in sometimes when the cashier Tim is there he is always touchy with his female coworkers and they always look uncomfortable management should do something about this behavior
