  Broken pumps. Not the best experience. (Edited to add more information) I arrived at the pumps and attempted to use them, but it would not read my card. I went inside where two clerks were talking to each other. I told them I was having issues with the pump. One worker said, "the pumps are old, they are broken". Then took my credit card and asked how much I wanted to get. I said I did not know. So they took my card and gave me a code to punch in. I still had to go to another pump to use it. Also they authorized an amount that I later saw was $175. Now, authorizations so fall off but had I needed those funds on my card, that would have been a huge problem for me. I called customer service, they attempted to say it was the card issuer that determined the hold. However, I get gas all the time in other places and never have I ever had an authorization higher than $1, plus the actual gas amount. My friend told me she avoids Maverick because this type of thing has happened to her as well. This is not necessary. Do better.

  Great place to swap the kids with your ex. We'll, if one of you live in the Salt Lake valley, and the other lives in Utah County... then it's a great spot to exchange. If you both live in Salt Lake, probably not worth the drive, you can find snacks and gas elsewhere.
