- MMMariaSep 7, 20261.0Extremely disappointed with my experience at this Maverik today. I came in around 4:50 PM needing help getting a propane tank. I approached the employee working the register, who had a mustache, and asked for help. He completely ignored me and continued going about his business. What made the situation even more upsetting was that while I was still standing there waiting for help, a white woman walked up to the register and he immediately helped her. Another employee eventually approached the counter, and I had to say, “Can you help me? Since I’m being ignored.” No one apologized or even acknowledged what had just happened, and the original employee continued acting as though I wasn’t there. The difference in how I was treated compared with the customer who walked up after me made me feel that I was being discriminated against because of my race. It was disrespectful, embarrassing, and completely unacceptable. I will not be returning to this Maverik after being treated this way.
- BHBruce HSep 1, 20261.0Stopped filling my tank at half way today because the pumps are so slow. It was really slow. I'm guessing they make them that way so they can subject you to more ads. Either way, I'll be avoiding this one in the future.
